How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast was not diverse enough and did not care about halal or kosher.
Its location is good in the center but in a quiet place. Ideal for sleeping and from the noise.

Wasn't enough milk and sugar in the room. Security guard at night wasn't very friendly/approachable. He was rude
Bed was very comfortable. Room was on the smaller side bit still had plenty of room to move around. Shower is amazing and very spacious. Staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was fine. Breakfast wasn't piping hot but was warm enough for us and quite a lot to choose from if you are there early enough. I would be more than happy to stay here again and I will be doing. Muhammed at reception made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

My single bed was next to a wall, I would prefer it away from the wall and I ordered a large room 14m2 and the room 808 was smaller than that I should say. No iron available. My card was not working on the return. There was a fire alarm but the staff were not aware why and people were confused, there should be a speaker announcement. The doors slam very hard so it is easy to be woken up and it was quite loud throughout the night. Even though I have emailed to request vegan breakfast, I had to wait 20 minutes for it to be cooked especially when it should be widely available in 21 century.
It was close to 02 Ritz, I like the en-suite, it was spacious and had a nice shower and tile. Food was nice and good variety but vegan sausages.

The staff was excellent. Breakfast was okay, would have preferred if there had been some cheese and ham as well as what was on offer. Room was excellent. Nothing to complain about. Location excellent for the University if visiting students

Breakfast great although luke warm at best for temperatures, good selection of choice and great coffee. Happy enough overall but price didn't reflect the overall experience, room was very dusty, lots of heavy soiling/stains in the carpets and marks on the walls. Mattress was too firm, sheets too thin, air con didn't work correctly, but good pillows. Very quiet though which I was happy about. Overall it was ok, but I would have preferred to have paid £100 for what I received, great location mind. Unfortunately I won't be likely to stay here again based on this experience.

Prebooked a twin and got a double, I don’t want to sleep with my adult son! No other twin room’s available so staff made up sofabed, very uncomfortable and all pillows were lumpy. Lovely man in reception Mohamed? I have stayed here a few months ago during the week and it was great, shame this time wasn’t as nice.
