I completely understand the fact that to offer the best experience for customers by keeping your hotel up to date and safe but having a hole in front of the lift is dangerous and I fell into it, twisting my ankle.

The room was clean and comfortable and I liked the room we were given.

Undergoing construction so not easy to find back entrance. Could have used temporary sign to reception

The dinner wasn’t great, but the food was ok and reasonably priced. The queue to order at the bar was quite long. Two out of 7 main courses of the kids menu were not available and there was half a slice of salami on the vegetarian pizza margharita. But the good thing is that the kids eat for free with the paying adults.

Great breakfast buffet, open from 6 am. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful during check-in.

Noise from some young children but I didn't report this. Mattress was rather soft.

Convenient for Gatwick airport. Unfortunately I booked it before I booked parking and hadn't realised that I could have booked parking too.

The parking charges were high and we are already paying quite a bit for the room rent at least the parking could have been subsided

The room was very hot. The staff member I spoke to could have been more polite. It was expensive for a basic overnight stay.

Great location for an overnight stay before an early flight. The room had everything you’d need to be comfortable.

Food very overpriced

In a great location for Gatwick airport, easy to get on a shuttle bus there and back. Rooms very clean and nicely decorated. Loved the lobby restaurant downstairs, very casual and loved that you could collect food yourself and take upto your room if you want to.

Room numbers read out loud at reception, when others in reception. When 4 to a room, it's a spare double, instead of a spare 2 x singles

It was a quiet location, and the bed was comfortable. The service was efficient and the bathroom had the necessities. It had a good shuttle bus to the airport

On booking in and out the reception staff were disappointing to say the least. Both men on arriving and leaving were arrogant and unhelpful. However they did not show the same attitude towards my brother who was standing with me. While I appreciate different nationalities have differing attitudes towards women they are employed to provide a service (which I think was sadly lacking on attitude towards paying guests) As a senior citizen I kind of expect to be shown respect by staff the same way I show them respect. All other aspects of my stay were very good.

The accommodation was very good. Great location and restaurant. The bar and restaurant staff were excellent.

The washroom sink was stuck and was getting filled up. Needed to wait for minutes to reuse. The 2 guys on the bar set were not friendly at all. They were just trying to get me rushed on what to take and they were rude when i asked for drinks advices. I paid with 50pound notes, and had the return changes in cents and pennies, aren't notes available there? I had like 2kg of metals in my pocket during diner.

Enjoyed the stay. Great welcome at the checkin reception and at breakfast reception.

The sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable. Check in wait was quite long, especially having a toddler with us more staff needed for such a busy check in time (Friday evening). Having to pay for parking even whilst booked into the hotel seems unreasonable.

Our check-in Receptionist was friendly and informative. The atmosphere was good in the bar/restaurant. Location to the airport/supermarket and stores is great. Bar and restaurant staff were also helpful.

The property was clean and the staff were nice, but got funny when we didn’t go for the set restaurant menu price and just ordered off the normal menu. The receptionist didn’t tell us where our room was located, or even basic directions.

Pullout bed for the kids was a little small.

Good value option for a last minute stay when we arrived home to Gatwick. Breakfast was really good and the chef really helped us with Gluten Free options.

I stayed here the night before an overseas flight. I really appreciated how helpful the staff were when explaining the shuttle bus schedule to the airport. It had a great night sleep and an easy start to a long travel day. I would choose this hotel again, especially because It happens to be the start of the shuttle bus, which made it easy to find a seat and find space for luggage.
