Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything was great, but the shower water pressure was a bit low.
Excellent location close to shopping areas, Chinatown, and many other attractions. A supermarket is just a short walk away, which is very convenient. The hotel provides on-site parking (for a fee), and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Every staff member was friendly and provided outstanding service. I was truly impressed with my stay. ^_^

There wasn't any light in the room over the desk area, so could be a bit dark if you need to work on your laptop in the room. During breakfast some staff were way too quick to remove your plates or cups, even if I clearly had a nearly full cup of coffee
Room itself was fine, pillows were not the most comfortable but were adequate. The room also came with several snacks and drinks included, which was nice. Breakfast was great with many hot and cold options. Location was good, being near a tube station but on a quiet street, sometimes could even almost sleep with window open. Lobby staff were also knowledgeable and helpful with advice on getting to airport during the strike by underground tube workers.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, close to a couple of tube stations and in central location. There are a few pubs nearby and two Italian restaurants. It was enough for us, but might be too little for those who look for more to do near the hotel.

Great central and pleasant location for getting to a show at Wembley Stadium and for shops and red etc- good transport links, good facilities and surprisingly quiet at night.

Two minor things but both were very well resolved. Firstly, checking in took a very long time despite being the only guests at reception - evidently there was some sort of problem. The member of staff must have sensed this and we were given drinks vouchers as a gesture for the wait time without any complaint from us. Secondly, breakfast was definitely included in our stay but when we went in for this we were told it wasn't. After a quick phone call to reception and a profuse apology all was resolved.
We found this to be a very good base for an evening at Wembley with plenty of tube and train options within a short walk. Marylebone itself has a lot to offer with great pubs, enticing food outlets and Regents Park. The hotel itself was comfortable and had everything I would have expected. There were a couple of minor service related points (see 'what didn't you like') but both were very professionally handled without needing to complain and left us happy.

The rooms in floor 4 need renovation, especially the bath.
I received a very poor looking room, old and small facing other ugly windows, very close to elevators, which I could hear all the time. I asked for another room and received a better room, better looking and quiet. I was offered a choice between two and it was very nice of them to offer a choice between two. Breakfast was great! AC was excellent. Charging opportunities for my phone were perfect.

Staff not that friendly on initial entry or at breakfast. I booked well in advance and after deliberating about the option of non refundable or refundable for my booking I chose refundable. On the day of my visit I was told the option I chose did not qualify for breakfast which I thought I did. Could the booking.com make the breakfast details really clear as they took this away in my refundable option which was the next option to the refundable room never mind the various room size and bed arrangement options too.

The bathroom was very small and my husband found it hard to get in and out of shower. Something not easy to fix
It was close to transport, restaurants pubs and shops. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. Great position.

Room was clean but a little bit dated compared to lobby area. Door to bathroom in room 409 was difficult to shut. Otherwise it was fine.
Lovely lobby area and communal area. Reception looked after our luggage whilst we explored on our second day. Breakfast foods were very good.
