Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Buffet breakfast. All the items laid out were lukewarm or cold-eggs, sausages, bacon etc. They should invest in heated containers to keep things hot. Very disappointing. No complaint about everything else, the croissants were excellent (and warm).
Very welcoming reception staff. Nice room, facilities all good, looks like it had been refurbished recently. Bathroom spotless.

Due to the family members reduced mobility unfortunately it was difficult for the person to access the shower. That may be something for the future to offer a walk in shower. The front door did not lock but we have told the kind staff.
The staff ware extremely helpful, especially with one family member who has reduced mobility and food allergy.

I have to use a sleep machine an there was only 1 power point which made it difficult for me to use the machine as the cord had to be across the walk way which resulted with a trip hazard for my husband when he got up through the night
From the moment we entered we felt welcome. Our meal were very good. Each staff was a genuine pleasure to ask help from they seemed to have the I care about your stay.

One downside was the additional charge for parking, especially considering the hotel's location outside of the city.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options to start the day right. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was also large and comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Though it is possible to get to the park and ride on foot from the property there is no direct path from the hotel. We would have preferred brighter lighting in the room. We found it hard to read. It was a pity we had to pay extra for car parking especially as no one but hotel users were likely to use it.
The room was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Daniel. The food was of good quality. Room was soundproof. Getting a taxi was very easy. Hotel is well situated when travelling from the M40.

The noise at dinner time. Due to the open plan nature of the restaurant/bar, we had to endure the racket of what we think were a football club while having our dinner.
Great location and lovely comfy room, but the view of a concrete wall was hardly inspiring. The bed was also comfy and the room quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was super but the food at dinner was underwhelming.

Paid parking for a hotel near a ring road is not appropriate. Some of the staff (only a few) were not very courteous. The lifts were jerky and probably would need some servicing.
Very good sized rooms with a sofa and a work desk. High end branded toiletries in the bathroom. There were multiple USB ports around the work areas as well as on the bedside tables.

Shower was poor- not very powerful. I found the bed uncomfortable. Instructions for heating/aircon would have been useful as the room was boiling hot. Did try to lower temp. setting but didn’t have much luck.

No bedside USB charging ports which is a standard requirement when travelling these days. The room was clean and comfy but in need of a refurb - light marks on the wood where the bedside lamps had been replaced by a smaller model. Stayed with friends and their room had a huge tv, but it blocked half the mirror! Our tv was small - didn't use it, but some similarity in rooms would be better.
Room was comfortable and a good size. Bar & lounge area was good - enjoyed a game of Jenga with the complimentary board games available! Location was ideal with the park & ride just 5 mins walk away, just £2 into Oxford centre.
