Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Stayed 4-6 April. Turned out they charged me twice. Took £150 + £19.50 from card on arrival - thought this was just a card holding but no it was withdrawn from bank. Then charged £269.99 on checkout. Only realised today.

My request for a quiet room was misunderstood. Hotel holds a deposit per night which last for couple of days after you check-out. The food served is ok, but very small portions. Would be nice to use the swimming pool & other facilities after you check-out, so everything is available to the minimum, rather than in a generous manner. It is rather costly for what you get.
Lovely hotel with nice modern interiors, polite and helpful staff, clean and comfy rooms. Nice hotel for a short stay. It is located in a quiet area, however it is a bit of a walk to the nearest park.

Breakfast selection was good and on inclusive stay was good value. We also ate in the restaurant and bar during the stay and food was very good in both for evening and lunch meals.

Didn’t like lumpy pillow.

Very unhappy that nobody could help me with lighting the candles on my partner’s Birthday 🎂 cake that I had made specially. I realise that it can’t be lit in the bedrooms… but they could have allowed me to light them downstairs, at the Reception!
Breakfast was plentiful. Clean & very comfortable bed/room.

This is a very good hotel, perfect for our needs when visiting children and grand children. The beds are comfortable and the swimming pool a great way to unwind. breakfast is plentiful and fresh. The hotel also provides free parking, so no hidden extras

Always like to go for a walk but location is on industrial park so not too far to explore outside.
The staff were all great - special mention to the Receptionist in spa, was super friendly and helpful, we arrived with not much time to spare and she welcomed us and got us settled quickly. She was dealing with a lot of people and i was very impressed how she managed it all with a smile. Our afternoon tea was lovely, we asked for gluten free option on the day and this was given with no issues, again, lady who served us was really friendly and helpful, service was quick and we really enjoyed the afternoon tea. The guy on reception helped me claim free parking and we we allowed to check in earlier which was great.

I used the pool in the morning which was great (would have been more convenient if it opened from 6am rather than 7pm - you have a lot of business guests and some would like to swim and have breakfast before they have to leave)
Loved my stay here. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Food was really good and the room was very comfy with great pressure in the bath/shower.

No automatic doors on the room, 4 out of 5 people were ill all night, so not sure if from the cream tea eating, did report to reception on departure.
Room was lovely, spacious, clean and quiet, with an accessible room would be helpful to have automatic doors, which they dont have. Did not have breakfast
