Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomFor a hotel that wasn’t particularly cheap, the gym opening hours were very limited as was the last orders in the kitchen. Having arrived at about 8:30pm, the kitchen was closing at 8:45pm - and it was a Saturday night on! The room was great - tired decor but fine for an overnight stay - although it looked as though it had been prepared some time before and no-one had stayed in it since. Disappointingly it looked like it hadn’t been checked or refreshed prior to my checking in. The milk was sour, there was a dead moth in the bath that looked to have been there a while, and the sink and bath taps appeared dusty. Disappointed the gym was closed when I arrived and didn’t open until 7am the following morning. Ideally, 6am to 10pm might be considered.
It was a lovely property, albeit tired and quite dreary looking as I entered, but parking was free and the gym/pool/spa facilities were top drawer🤩 The breakfast was great, in a lovely area with nice view of the lovely garden. Great staff!

United KingdomThe furniture in the rooms could do with an update and there were no plug sockets or usb points by the bed. The phone signal and internet were none existent in the rooms and most areas in the hotel which was extremely frustrating. Had to leave the hotel complex to get any contact with the outside world! Not ideal, especially for a hotel which I imagine gets a lot of business from the International Centre. This definitely needs addressing.
The hotel was in an excellent location , just two minute walk to the International Centre and five minutes to town park and town centre. The pool facilities looked good but unfortunately didn’t get time to use them. Breakfast was great with fantastic choice and we enjoyed our evening meal. What did stand out though were the staff. All, without exception were so so friendly, professional and helpful. I spoke with reception, housekeeping, bar and restaurant staff and they were all fantastic. A credit to your hotel.

United KingdomWe found the beds really hard so after two nights we’re glad to get home. It’s a shame and I would stay again but only for one night.
This is a great hotel to stay with children and one of the best holiday inns we have ever stayed in. It’s right behind Telford Town Park and the shopping centre backs onto it too so lots for the kids to do and right on the door step. The staff were great with the kids and the little extras like the football table were an added bonus. We stayed for two days and the kids went swimming 3 times you have to book a slot for an hour but lots of availability and they give you towels when you go in and even the hot drinks were nice in there. There is a sauna steam room jacuzzi and small gym for the adults. It was very clean and kids eat free in the main restaurant too although lots of places to eat locally if you prefer. The breakfast was also good value

United KingdomOnly minor negatives we could find were the lack of USB charging points (something I would expect in modern hotels) and the very small TV which was in a strange location (too low to see from the bed).
Great location for Telford international, the ice rink and the Telford centre. Clean and comfortable, easy check in process and a really great breakfast.
