United KingdomWe had to book to use the swimming pool which we were unaware of until we went to use the pool. Unfortunately the tv in our room wouldn’t work, we told staff on the Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon Saturday night but it still didn’t work and we had no feedback. It didn’t spoil our stay but it could have for others.
Location was excellent for what we wanted. Staff really friendly and helpful, everywhere was clean and bright. We had breakfast which was good. Room was all we needed, clean. We were able to get extra real milk and teabags and chocolate bars at 2:30 in morning, we couldn’t sleep.

Breakfast was lovely, the hotel was family friendly, we loved the pool and gym and relaxed dining room, evening meal was also lovely, staff friendly and approachable.

United KingdomIt is a long walk to some of the rooms, when our key card stopped working we had a long trek back and forth. While it was great to have the pool, it is very tired and didn’t look very clean at all. In the shower section there were dirty hand prints on the wall and the floor around the pool was filthy.
The room was adequately sized for two adults and a toddler. I was a bit worried at first because it was very cold but the air con system warmed the room up quickly. It was a nice touch to have the pool and sauna and steam room just as something else to do. Breakfast was great, hot and with lots of choice. It was constantly being replenished by staff and the manager was so helpful and friendly.

United KingdomThere was a total disconnect between this hotel's booking system and the Booking.com reservation; they could not find a record of our payment and, at checkout, asked me to forward the Booking.com payment receipt for their assurance! We were allocated a Standard room without a walk-in shower (that I had ordered). After traipsing back to Reception with our luggage, on complaint we were issued the last-available Premier room (which did have the shower we had booked) The pre-paid dinner allowed only a restricted choice of dishes from the menu. That's understandable I guess, but it would be better as a price limit for the total bill, per guest; this should be published on the Booking.com site. Overall, the open-plan restaurant/bar was acceptable - perhaps for the locals to play pool - but hardly comfortable to couples or business people wishing to enjoy their meals.
Good, clean room - when we were eventually allocated the 'Deluxe' room that I had booked.
