Good value for money, especially when considering the location. Jan and Nico were friendly and helpful, the rooms were cosy and everything was very clean. This was our second time staying here, and we intend to do so again.

Very friendly owner. Wrote me lots of dog walks to do. Perfect location for the Lake, shops and pubs. Loved having filter coffee in the room as well with a cafetière. Peaceful, clean. Loved my four nights there and highly recommend!

Probably the best location in Bowness on Windermere for walkable dining, shopping, easy long term car park andlake and tour access. Its an older building that might have been a BnB at one point but they do not offer breakfast which is fine because you can walk to several early morning cafe's and coffee shops in 2-5 minutes. I had the one room with the large balcony which was very nice although it is winter so it wasn't sunbathing weather! Room is quirkily decorated, very soft and comfy bed and newly remodeled bathroom. Included coffee and tea service with fresh milk available in the common kitchen if you desire. Located right next to a large car park where you can pay for up to 3 days for 16 pounds. It can be busy but I got a space on the first drive through! To conclude, a very cute, comfortable little inn with a great location and parking.

Good value for money carpark right behind holly cottages. Great communal kitchen. The location was fantastic next to good bars and a short walk to the lake. I would recommend the Stags head for a good meal at a reasonable price and a good atmosphere. The owner of holly cottages was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was clean, grèat location right next to everything. Allowed dogs and had food bowls and bags there waiting. Super friendly owners, kept in touch prior to arrival and let us know the local car parks (one right next to it, around £20 for three days parking bit there are some free areas you can go to). Also offered to look after the dog for us when there was an accident to be able to go to a walk in centre. The room had a kettle, cups, tea, coffee, milk sachets (fresh milk available in the kitchen), hair dryer, mini fridge, ironing board, hangers for clothes. Locals also super friendly. Would recommend highly and will be using again. A massive thank you for a lovely stay.

The location was easily accessible and when you check in you have to ring a doorbell. The stay felt very secure and safe. I never had any disturbances and the lady who showed us to our rooms was extremely nice. The street it was located on also had lots of restaurants plus a bus station. I think that the rooms were reasonably priced for the amenities provided.

Everything! I have to say It exceeded my expectations. The environment is good, facilities are good too. Everything clean and comfortable. Host is so kind and friendly and lovely. I’m so lucky can had an excellent experience.

Right in the centre next to pubs and bars. Clean and had everything you needed in the rooms. Also had dog bowls and poo bags as an extra touch. Great outdoor terrace for the dogs. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family!

Nothing for the price you pay.

The location is phenomenal for the price to stay. Check in was easy. The car park is 50 yards away and is free over night from 20:00 - 8:00. Really hard to be negative when the price is so cheap.
