No personal control of the heating which did not come on when I needed it most. Would have liked some microwavable plates / tubs or something so that I could have heated up some food. Found the shower temperature difficult to control. Smaller than expected but still good value.

Decor and fittings maybe need a bit of attention

The heating was not on and it was extremely cold in the room. Also, the toilet seat was detached and the shower was stuck on maximum heat

So I did see a lot of comments about cleanliness, I can see why (evidently not vacuumed after every visit) but the bed, and toiletries were very clean and that's what I care about.

Room suited my needs very well, check in was easy and so was check out which was especially important because I had to leave early. Staff were very lovely and helpful.

The kitchen was too small to cook anything. There was no place to sit and work. The room was quite old and it could be felt in the condition. The heating was not enough to keep the room warm despite a cold weather.

No staff on premises, it appeared that there was only 1 bathroom and toilet shared by everyone. Despite saying there is free wifi there is no details so none available. It says rooms sound proofed but they are not. The house could do with a refresh to match the rooms. The house is on a main road which light sleepers should be aware of

The single room was clean and comfortable, there was a kitchenette including a fridge freezer and microwave, tea and coffee and a TV. The single bed was comfortable and bedding and towels clean. The door was lockable with the key which was very reassuring as a single traveler in a full house.

Flooring was old and was coming out in certain places stuck with tape. But very run down property. No interaction with the host. Location was a bit out of the way

Very large 2 bedroom apartment. Kitchen was under equipped but functional. . However the beds were comfortable and the apartment was really big and more than met our expectations.

Two rooms on same floor, one led to a spacious garden which could use a little more love, each room with bathroom, old but well cleaned, parking available in front of guest house, friendly staff, rooms equipped with water boiler, fridge and necessities to make tea and coffee.

Main room had too many chairs for us.

Right where we needed it when we needed it. Had 2 bedrooms and kitchen. Convenient for local transport. Quirky but comfortable.

The bed wasn't very comfortable - needed some better pillows. Was a little dusty around the lampshade and needed the curtains extending slightly to block out the light around the side.

Room was compact but benefitted from microwave, fridge and kettle in room. TV good size. Parking a good benefit and easy to go into Oxford.

Both double beds were pushed against a wall which made it difficult for the 2nd person to get in and out. There was little in the way of cutlery & plates etc.

Great location and value for money. Nice little touches like biscuits. The mattresses were very comfortable, and there was a back door leading to a garden and chairs. The washing machine and dryer were a bonus.

It was a little cramped for 5 and it rained the whole time we were here (hardly the host's fault but it did put a literal and figurative damper on the trip).

Convenient onsite parking and easily accessible by car from downtown Oxford. Classic Victorian guest house with multiple apartments available.
