The slope to the parking area, which was so severe that my front wheels slipped. A 4-wheel drive would have coped better. The step down from the room to the bathroom was a challenge at our age.

The garden view and location to Kingsbridge, which was walking distance away.

There wasn’t a mirror in the bathroom but there was a large one in the main room.

We ended up in the family room although we had booked a twin. We really enjoyed the extra space. The couch and TV area were really cosy and good for relaxing in the evening. Andrew and Kathryn were very friendly and answered any questions we had about the area. They also prepared a delicious and generous cooked breakfast each morning. The b&b is very well located for walking the section of the South West Coast Path from Wonwell Beach to Torcross. We didn’t have a car but there is a bus stop just a two-minute walk away and plenty of local taxi services.

The access was extremely steep to drive into the property!

Bathroom separate from bedroom. However, it was not shared. Narrow roads and very steep drive for access.

Driveway a little steep!

Nothing to dislike other than a bit of a tricky driveway to get to the carpark, but once Andrew told us the best way to approach it, it was a piece of cake.

Andrew and Kathryn were lovely hosts nothing too much trouble for them. We were met in the car park by Andrew who immediately made us feel welcome. The B&B is in beautiful surroundings with stunning gardens which we were allowed to use at our leisure. Room was clean and tidy with tea and coffee facilities, a private bathroom. Lovely breakfast.

Perfect location for our trip, lovely spacious (family) room, plenty of room for parking; hosts went out of their way to take us to our starting point for walking the coast path

It would’ve been great to have a menu for breakfast suggesting what was available but this didn’t have any impact on the quality.

The accommodation was clean and roomy. Breakfast was tasty. The beds were comfy and the house is in a great location. Andrew and Kathryn were very welcoming and hospitable and we really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing of significance

Very clean and modern, comfortable bed, modern bathroom , good quality accommodation. The hosts are very friendly and gave us some excellent tips and advice for travelling around the area. The breakfast was a bonus and was lovely. Very happy with my stay and will visit again .
