There is no facility to make a hot beverage in the room, although tea and coffee is available in reception, this isn't the same as other budget hotel chains.

Far too small and the overhead bunk was actually quite dangerous when getting in or out of bed. But it is a budget hotel so can’t really criticise too much.

Very clean and lovely staff . Conveniently located and suited us very well. The Cherry Tree Farm restaurant was close by and that was brilliant. Really good shower and plenty of hot water. Good breakfasts.

The hotel is very good.

The hotel is in a good location to the south of Derby. It is close to various styles of restaurants. The room is basic but very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. The hotel’s reception and dining/ bar area has been recently refurbished to a good standard. Complimentary tea and coffee are available from the reception area throughout the day. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel represents excellent value for money! There is also ample car parking.

Disappointed there was no kettle/drinks provided in the room as feel this is an expected essential, especially on arrival (and yes we did use the facility to make a drink in reception, thanks - but please add some herb teas, plant milk alternative, and cocoa perhaps). Yes, it's a budget hotel but it wasn't a budget price! We had 2 large towels. We didn't need a shower so for eco reasons feel there should have been the option to only use a small towel which for one overnight we could also share (and applicable to many of your guests probably). This would not only reduce your laundry costs but encourage guests to do their bit for the climate (add a notice about towel use) - especially on the scale of all your hotel operations. A wall storage area for clean towels would be helpful in the confined space and extra hooks for ones in use too!

Rooms are very small, not suited to families with stuff, even split between 2 rooms it was very tight.

Breakfast did not have much for vegetarians - but there is a lovely independent coffee shop nearby.

Very good option for travelling with a dog with only a £10 per night fee. Location is good for travelling in the area.

No tea and coffee in the room! Total game changer for me. There is tea and coffee at reception, but how many people need a cuppa to wake up? Also, the breakfast buffet was good quality (especially for the price), but not hot enough.

When I first walked into the room, I thought I was in a ferry cabin, small and plastic However, waking up the next morning, it's obvious that the room is perfectly set up and functional for a good night's sleep and functionality, with great lighting and control, very controllable aircon, and a great shower and shower cubicle. Everything is designed for functionality.
