The amenities of the room were very poor. For example, they did not provide us with sleepers and the excuse was 'Green policy and environmental concerns'. Also no room service available

One remark to share - there was only one place in the room with power slots and missed them at bed sides. The rest was fine !

Great location in the centre of old town. Close to everything. Very nice and helpful staff at reception. We also used luggage room to store on early arrival and late departure. We had fantastic stay and wish to visit this place again !

Can't think of anything I disliked.

I like the Ibis hotels as the rooms are more than adequate and clean. I appreciated the free tea and coffee available at this hotel. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Special mention for Rosanna at reception who is originally from Sao Paulo in Brazil. Very helpful and friendly. It is an ideal location so close to the old town and city centre.

We liked the location of the hotel and the bar and restaurant area were very good. Checking in was quick, and all the staff at the hotel went out of their way to be helpful. We had a premium room on the top floor, and it was comfortable and quiet.

The price and the attitude of the reception member of staff, my wife has to have the window open a little at night. Was told due to fire restrictions this was not possible. But the ibis hotel down the road you could see windows open. I ask did they have a fan. Was told no one has never asked that question that before. Said she would text the other hotel but never got back to me.

I got stuck with a handicap room so the sink was too low for me. The shower set was not for me & had mold. The bed was hard.

Beds were a little hard. Our blinds didn’t close properly, however, reported to reception before going out and they were fixed by time we returned.

Location was good. 15 minute walk from bus station. Room was basic but ideal for a short break when out most of day. Breakfast was buffet style. Lots of choice. Hot breakfast selection very good as was cold.

Not something you can avoid with such a central hotel but could hear thumping bass of music from I presume a nightclub until early hours and this was a Tues so hate to think what weekend would be like!

Nice room. Small but had all we needed and clean. Had hanging space with hangers. Good shower. Good air con. Had seating area and a chair in room. Nice bar. Easy check in and out. So central with lots of restaurants and cafes around.

Excellent location in Old Town! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Plenty of restaurants and bars, and only a very short walk to the Royal Mile. Staff were lovely and the room was clean and neat. Also convenient that there is a Sainbury's right next door!

The bathroom. The door was very loud to open and close and there was no lock on it. There were stains on the ceiling above the sink.
