Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

With all the above excellence I am sure it would not take much to improve the standard of the coffee either at breakfast or in the room. The breakfast aside from the coffee was outstanding and this is just a small quibble but perhaps something you can address to take it next level!
The staff were exceptional. Particularly Ivana who made my children feel at home immediately and made a big fuss of my youngest as it was her birthday. Loved the building and the location as well. The breakfast was wonderful and I loved the mix of hot and cold options with no supplementary costs in sight! My daughters in particular loved the pancake maker.

There was a single towel that had a black, hard, plasticky substance on it. Possibly nail polish or something. It had obviously been washed but not come out. It didn’t bother us as there was plenty more towels but if I had to say there was an issue, it would be that. The only other thing I would say is that the Televison, even though it was a Smart TV, only had broadcasted televison. No DVD player, no Netflix apps, nothing. It made entertainment on the downtime quite difficult. Next time I’ll bring a Firestick.
The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff were lovely at every point. there were plenty of towels. The room was clean and fresh.

The breakfast food was not fantastic (eggs lacking seasoning and over or under cooked) and the continental breakfast doesn't have a lot of options.
The rooms were super comfortable and silent, great to have a good night sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we asked for something.

I could’ve hoped more options on the breakfast table. For example salads, vegetables and fruits.

The decor !! Our room had a horrible purple/magenta theme that made it look like a bordello. We have often stayed in the Manchester Victoria Indigo which also has quite edgy interior decor but done in a very tasteful and interesting way. Unfortunately not the Glasgow one !

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I travelled with my two daughters and they could not be any nicer to them. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel was clean and quiet. Rooms were clean and comfortable also. Highly recommend the Indigo Hotel for a stay in Glasgow.

Although bedrooms beautifully decorated shower room tiles getting a bit well worn and could do with being replaced in a few of the rooms now. Bar is not always manned,seating is uncomfortable and bar not well stocked but is that just because it's part of a big group of hotels. They've never addressed serving decent food but again perhaps because it's part of a group of hotels and there's not a lot they can do at local level but fortunately good restaurants nearby.
Fantastic big clean bed,that is so comfortable and good powerful shower. Reception staff really friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff do an amazing job. Good location for coming in and out of city.

Parking is a little complicated, using parking lot across the road. Do not try and take a large vehicle into the parking lot.
