It's location means a car is necessary to go anywhere, although there are several places a short drive away.

Really lovely people to deal with, Jon and the team were always accommodating and very helpful. Good food is served here, and a nice choice of beer, Gin etc to suit most tastes including some local brew. Comfortable rooms and reasonable prices.

Bedrooms are in need of refurbishment - but I would stay there again.

Only one staff member at breakfast due to it being a quiet period, poor guy was rushed off his feet so we had to wait a little while. We were fine with that but other customers were grumbling.

Breakfast was lovely and lots of it. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The rooms were excellent value for money and extremely clean.

The bedroom and bathroom of ( no 4) did not feel as clean and tidy as when I stayed in room no 1 before, so slightly disappointed. Rooms need a bit of TLC.

Friendly atmosphere and comfortable accommodation. Good food . Great choice for breakfast. Towels and bedding were good.

Nothing not to like. Property in need of some maintenance however it had just passed high season at time of visit which may have been a factor . Getting in or out of Bath/shower may provide difficult for those with mobility issues, a grab rail may be beneficial

Our room lacked sockets. Not sockets at our bedside cabinets to charge out phones. Our bathroom needed updating. Felt rushed at breakfast even though we arrived at 9.30 when it ended at 10. They ran out of granola and no coffee pots for breakfast.

On arrival the staff couldn't be more helpful. 2 ladies were running the service and checkin. We had booked a later table for donner but we were able to eat earlier than planned. Lovely being able to eat outside. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was good and reasonably priced The rooms are comfortable. We only stayed 1 night. Great WiFi. Had a great nights sleep.

Away from the bar (i.e. the exterior of the building and rooms) its a bit rough round the edges and in need of a spruce up/renovation-room was a bit tired and unloved. OK for one night as a place for a quick sleep over.

Friendly bar staff and very comfy bed. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Bar/breakfast area is a pleasant environment and clean.

When we arrived we were shown our way to our “standard” room, however a far nicer room was not occupied the night we stayed, we would have paid extra if the better room had been offered.

Stop food at 8 and bar closes at 10. Even if not drinking, it's nice to have somewhere to sit and relax without being confined to your room like a 12 year old.
