The wine prices per glass were a bit steep.

Although facing the road the room was quiet during the night. Large room, firm comfortable bed, decent shower, tea and coffee making facilities with a couple of biscuits provided. Dinner was better than anticipated - more restaurant standard than pub grub - we enjoyed both dishes ordered. Key drop off point for early departures, direct access to the car park. Friendly welcome and friendly efficient staff.

Large comfortable bed in a good size room with en suite facilities. Polite, helpful and friendly staff. Good selection of beers and variety of menu for both breakfast and meals.

Hotel room not particularly clean It had received a basic wipe over obviously but not a deep clean, the sink was thick with grime around the Crome etc I notice these things as I clean part time alongside my full time job

Floorboards were quite squeaky and the many light was quite dim.

The Breakfast was amazing and had so many great options to choose from. The staff were very helpful and the check in process was very easy. Loads of parking space and very easy to find. Room space was perfect and the bathroom looked very modern and spacious.

There could have been more vegan options available for breakfast. The room was very warm during both the day and night. The trim for the toilet flush was broken and kept falling off.

The room was really comfortable, the bed was amazing, we both slept really well. The room was well equipped, and the pub downstairs made a lovely and cozy atmosphere to have a few evening drinks. Some of the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The shower was really nice.

Heating was a bit hit and miss, but may have been me! Hairdryer is a hotel one, which frustrate me no end, but I'm picking really, the hotel is lovely. Oh and no lift, but only 2 floors.

Lovely large room with a clean, compact bathroom. Good shower. Large comfy bed with good tea/coffee in the room. The food was delicious and the restaurant was really nice. A proper pub restaurant with a nice, friendly atmosphere. The staff were nice to. Although on a main road, the hotel was nice and quiet.

The sofa bed in the family room was unfortunately broken but had been taped up with warning tape to avoid injury. I would hope to see this replaced or repaired if I stayed again.

Because reception to check in is next to the bar, we had to wait (although it was quiet) for a little too long before someone arrived. Not the best / most professional check-in, maybe some basic training on how to deliver a "warm welcome" before just stating the price (in-front of my partner) and pointing to the card payment machine? Cobwebs in many places in our room, from lights to the ceiling to windows.....also evident from the rooms to the breakfast area. Had to contact reception before going out for a walk in the evening to state that the room was cold. Interestingly, another person was speaking to staff about the same issue. This was resolved quickly though.

Nice room, comfortable bed. Certain members of staff very helpful. Parking available (we were lucky enough to be able to see the car from our room which is always nice). Good breakfast, although after being taken to our table and told "I'll be back shortly to take your order", I had to go and find someone after a considerable time.... We also ate on the evening of our arrival, the food was very nice.

There is little in terms of noise control. There was a lot of noice through the floor from the room above and could hear clearly others in adjoining rooms which affected ability to get to sleep

Disappointed that the rooms weren't given the same make over. We stayed in room 101. One bedside lampshade was broken and taped back onto the wall, although in the morning it had fell off again. Stains on bed runner and the bathroom door was difficult to get in.

The make over the pub and restaurant has had was lovely, decorations were supreme. Both had a 3 course meal and drinks, couldn't fault the food. First night for our waitress and although she was very nervous she was polite and courteous.
