We enjoyed our 2 night stay here - wish it could've been longer :( The lodge was beautifully decorated, clean, tidy with everything you could possibly need. The owner's attention to detail could really be noted. The location was perfect. Our dog loved sitting on the enclosed balcony watching the ducks in the pond directly across. Nice big, comfortable bed. The location was perfect for exploring nearby areas- Morcambe, Silverdale and Arnside are good to visit ( with a dog). We would definitely love to stay here again.

Everything. This accommodation is beautiful. It's very well maintained and presented and very clean. It has all you need. The decor gives a really lovely calm feel, especially when just chilling and looking out at the ducks on the pond just outside. I would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Beautiful well equipped lodge in a quiet setting. Good outdoor space and amenities close by. Excellent communication from the owner with clear instructions for check in.

There was nothing not to like. The front door squeaked a bit when opened or closed, but that is it.

The property was excellent, it is better than the photos. Such a home from home. Easy to find, far away enough from the main towns to feel away from everything but close enough to walk to the local restaurant, lakes and leisure centre. For us it was an ideal hub for the local diving centre (best in the UK our dive centre told us) and it was amazing.

No activities for the children without going off site other than swimming but and adult is required in the pool. In the description it said archery was available but when enquired at reception they knew nothing about it. Had issues with the boiler in the property so no heating or hot water, the owner assisted with this.

It was very clean, very nice inside and the decor was beautiful. We absolutely loved it. Little duck pond right outside the lodge my little boy loved feeding the ducks, also a play park near the lodge. Literally had everything we needed and Margaret the host was very helpful when booking. Would definitely book again and highly recommend.

I liked everything about this property but the site had no exercise field to allow off lead walks with dog. Sister site South Lakeland 3day gym & swimming passes quite expensive

The single beds are small but comfortable

Beautiful decor, clean and well equipped. Nice bathroom with bath and shower. Welll ventilated with lots if windows and doors. Gorgeous veranda and garden furniture with a hammock! With a view of the duck pond eating outside was very enjoyable.

Lodge was perfect for our new year break, Margaret was a great host and very helpful, we all had a great time dogs included and would highly recommend, nice walks, bar and restaurant good and reasonably priced, couldn't fault it, and the little present left for us on arrival was a nice touch.

Only thing I would say is if you are thinking of getting a taxi anywhere pre book a few days before as they are normally booked up or not working

Margaret is an excellent host, great communication throughout from booking to departure. This is a Rare find beautiful area fantastic cabin. Very clean a real home from home experience. Definitely worth the money we were made to feel very welcome. Very easy to find clear information/instructions from Margaret. 5 star rating 🌟
