To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe staff were sometimes slow to clear your plates away from the table at breakfast an additional beverage machine would be a good idea for tea and coffee - it was busy and sometimes the beverage machine stopped working which then took extra time to get tea/ coffee but the staff were quick to respond with flasks of hot water and coffee.
There was a good choice for breakfast and the location was ideal with plenty of amenities close to the hotel.

United KingdomIt was a lovely stay, especially with the comfort of the room and also the location. Couldn't have found a better value place to stay within central London. But the one thing that I will remember best is the very good hospitality of the staff during the duration of my stay. They are always welcoming, serviced with smiles and have never been frustrated in delivering the best possible hospitality for us. A special mention goes to Mr. Enrich who checked me in; he was especially cordial, and was very accommodating and had made sure that my family and I had a great stay in the premise. I fully recommend him and he deserves a raise for sure!!

United KingdomThe cafe/restaurant wasn't very good as the menu was very limited for dinner. Breakfast was also not great in comparison to other Hilton's I've stayed in. Hashbrowns were overcooked, Pork sausages were undercooked. Chicken sausages were available on Monday but not on Tuesday. No yoghurts available.

United KingdomMissed the sign for the parking off main road. Some spaces taken up by materials looked a little unsightly and furniture making the spaces left tight. Commercial vans did block the entrance to available parking slightly luckily husband was driving.
Breakfast was good, staff were friendly, overall pleasant stay. Great location to royal albert hall and parking which supported our overall choice of hotel.
