Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

we were two people in the double room but only had one bath towel the second day, next day saw a cleaner and they left 2 but next day again only one set of towels.
very comfortable room, great view (5th floor) very quiet.

The location has an overground station really close, however you cannot direcly get to the center, you always need to change a train or 2
The room was very nice, and the breakfast was good.

Asked for 1hr later checkout which was denied. The lift takes for ages when the hotel is busy.

There is a local car park 1 minute from the hotel and would be nice if there was some sort of partnership. We paid £40 to park for 1 night stay which is a little steep! We were given 1 bath towel and would be better to have one each.
Hotel was extremely clean and room was a great size. Extremely impressed with the shower. Price of the hotel was reasonable for London.

Housekeeping knocking on doors from 08:00 when check out was 12:00. You can hear the train line from some rooms, which limited sleep.

The location is a bit out of the way. The elevators were not great down 1/2 the time we were there.
The rooms are big, the gym next door is one of the best ever.

Had offer for breakfast of £15 prior to visit. Then told on checkin that breakfast was £18 & when arrived for breakfast was charged £20. Staff pleasant but not willing to alter cost. Felt very misleading information.

We have reserved a room that did not include breakfast but from what we saw I think it is poor and overpriced. As a 4 star hotel I would have expected to have a lounge and a small gym.
The room was nice, clean and the beds comfortable. The size of the room was ok. The staff was extremely polite. The location is good. One min walk to the train station Imperial Wharf and ten min walk to take the bus that runs every five or ten min. We like to walk so for us the location was superb. There is a supermarket in the opposite and a small coffee shop.

We feel we went too early for breakfast. When booking in we were told to go 8:30-9am but because we had to be somewhere at a certain time, we went at 8:15. It was a bit of a free for all. Offered a table that hadn’t been cleaned. Not much left in the way of hot food. Had to ask for tea/coffee as it wasn’t offered. Had to ask for cutlery. Bit disappointing there but that was all really.

The bar - last orders at 10.30 and then shut at 11 when a lot of us were working and used the bar in the evening to catch up properly. Stayed several times but not had that experience before.

Had breakfast one morning which was £20 Per Person and was only average .
Rooms are modern with large TV and are spotless. We normally stay at the Kingston Double Tree which is really excellent and this was also very good.
