To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThere is a local car park 1 minute from the hotel and would be nice if there was some sort of partnership. We paid £40 to park for 1 night stay which is a little steep! We were given 1 bath towel and would be better to have one each.
Hotel was extremely clean and room was a great size. Extremely impressed with the shower. Price of the hotel was reasonable for London.

GreeceWe have reserved a room that did not include breakfast but from what we saw I think it is poor and overpriced. As a 4 star hotel I would have expected to have a lounge and a small gym.
The room was nice, clean and the beds comfortable. The size of the room was ok. The staff was extremely polite. The location is good. One min walk to the train station Imperial Wharf and ten min walk to take the bus that runs every five or ten min. We like to walk so for us the location was superb. There is a supermarket in the opposite and a small coffee shop.

United KingdomWe feel we went too early for breakfast. When booking in we were told to go 8:30-9am but because we had to be somewhere at a certain time, we went at 8:15. It was a bit of a free for all. Offered a table that hadn’t been cleaned. Not much left in the way of hot food. Had to ask for tea/coffee as it wasn’t offered. Had to ask for cutlery. Bit disappointing there but that was all really.
