Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe building is a little old. The reception staff is professional but not particularly friendly.
The Tube is 2 blocks away. There are many restaurants stores and supermarkets nearby. The breakfast was very good so was the breakfast staff. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have had in a hotel. Great value for the price.

United KingdomThe lift was teeny-tiny so one of us had to take the stairs, but at least there was a lift!
Close to the tube, larger than average room, very quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit old and tired but it was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was also a nice surprise with strong coffee (much needed with a baby!) and friendly and attentive staff. It wasn’t a luxury stay, but for the price, we thought it was excellent value.

United KingdomThe noise was really bad. The air transfer system and the lift made it impossible to get any sleep on the first night. The lift makes a really bad cranking noise when it stops/starts and you can hear the hoist going up and down. It’s really old. We bought ear plugs for successive nights. There is no respite from the air transfer system if you are on the top floor. My husband spoke to reception who said they would look at it. The bathroom was really dated and all the sealants need replacing. The shower was one of the worst I have ever used.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was clean and comfortable. The towels were changed everyday. The ladies in the breakfast dining room are lovely. There is a refurb work going on so hopefully the things below will improve.

Belgiumroom could be cleaned a little better, it doesn’t cost much. if you plan a longer stay breakfast will be the same during all your stay. in the room was quite cold, and the additional heater did not work.
Room is quite spacious and partially renovated. Bed is very comfortable, slept really good. Breakfast is good but everyday is the same. Location is not bad, 4 min walk from subway, many restaurants around

RomaniaThe water pressure is quite low on the fifth floor, I could do a shower with it but it might bother someone else. Also there were some squeaky noises coming from the bathroom’s radiator but if the door is closed we barely hear them.
It was cozy, with a very comfortable mattress. It was also very clean and the breakfast was good, even if it is simple and the same in every morning. The ladies from the restaurant were very welcoming. The location is perfect because it is close to a lot of restaurants and also close (4-5mins) to Earl’s Court underground station. Our room, 34 which was on 5th floor was warm (in January) and quiet (also the neighborhood is quiet). I think this hotel offers the best value for money you can find in London with a great location! It’s not a five star hotel but the large room, great bed, heating and breakfast are good enough.

PortugalThe building needs renovation, the lift only fits 2 people at the time and it’s very old. Also there are some things that could be updated and we couldn’t regulate the central heating.
Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable and room was spacious, just like the pictures. They left tea, coffee and some cookies in the room which was very nice. Breakfast was basic but good and the staff kept replacing food when needed.

SloveniaFlatscreen TV had many channels, but had occasional glitches in picture (pixelation, audio drops). It was not important for us at all, but may be important to others.
The hotel is located in a quiet location, away from main street. All the staff was very polite, friendly and professional. We were welcomed with a warm smile every time we left or returned to hotel. Rooms are very clean and in good shape. Breakfast had variety of different foods, all fresh and good tasting. I can easily recommend this to families looking for a place to crash after a long day visiting London's many attractions. The hotel is situated 3min walking distance from Earls Court tube station. In close proximity you can find many fast food places, grocery store, a pharmacy and other facilities.

BulgariaFor our departure from the hotel we needed a taxi to Stratford International Station , in order to catch the bus for Stansted Airport. And because this is a matter of importance, not to miss the airplane, I asked the reception desk on Monday evening,30th of October, two days in advance to book a taxi for Wednesday, 5.30 a.m. sharp. First of all, the lady asked me about the number of the passengers and the exact number of bags and suitcases(which was suspicious and very strange). Second, UNFORTUNATELY the TAXI WAS NOT ON TIME ON WEDNESDAY, 1-st of NOVEMBER. At 5.36 there was no taxi, and I was worried very much. Later a man arrived WITH WHITE TOYOTA PRIUS, said he is the taxi driver, and DID NOT APPOLOGISE FOR BEING LATE.HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE ,WITH VERY BAD , UNPOLITE AND THREATENING BEHAVIOUR . We start the journey, he was driving very slow on purpose, I asked him to be in a hurry, because he was late and is his fault, if we miss the bus and the flight, he refused and said that he doesn't care about that. Not at all. He cares about his family . So, finally we MISSED THE BUS, HE TOOK 60 pounds, and this was extremely inappropriate and unacceptable behavior. HE WAS LATE-YOU CAN CHECK THE CAMERAS IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL, HE WAS VERY RUDE AND THE CAR DID NOT HAVE ANY SPECIFIC SIGNS ROR TAXI.(the amount was higher, and he is not official taxi, according to me) So WE ARE REALLY VERY DISSAPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED FROM THIS SERVICE!
The location is very good- near Earl's court station. The breakfast was also good and tasty, although absolutely the same every day. The lift(elevator) is very small, only 3 persons without luggage, or 2 persons with small bag or suitcase.
