We have informed staff that the shower is not working and we're waiting most of the day for someone to come and fix it. There was noone to do it until we checked out.

The location is amazing. The hotel was very clean. The restaurant is amazing.

Breakfast was good but occassionaly felt a little rushed as the hot food order was taken and served quickly not allowing time for cereal/ fruit etc.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The food was great with a varied menu catering for most. The 1920s lift was quirky but lovely to see it in working order.

A fridge in the room would have been good.

Lovely breakfast continental and cooked offered. We stayed in one of the annex rooms which was very spacious and clean with a great shower. Kettle for tea and coffee. Wi-fi was not very good. Under floor heating was great.

Loved that they had kept original features especially the over 100 year old lift! Pleasant friendly staff & conveniently located, with Riverside views.

Some of the carpeting was 'tired' but all was good quality so not a big issue. The car parking could be better organised but again not a massive issue

The rooms were a little bit tired in the annex but not problematic so. The annex room was too warm and controlling the temperature due to the under floor heating was a real challenge. We were quite happy to have the window open but as it is a ground floor not everyone would be happy with it open.

Everyone and everything was spot on and great value. The food and beer were lovely and we were looked after well by the staff. The ambience in the bar was really nice pursuading us not to go looking for evening entertainment any where else.

Very dated, room and bed were very small. A building with a bit of history and heritage but it feels a bit lost and interior looks a bit sad. Breakfast was average. Nevertheless, the staff were friendly.

    Nothing really to dislike.

The staff were able to fina a phone charger to fit my phone as I had left mine at a previous destination. i have quite a specific diet- gluten free and vegetarian and this was provided for. I did however get my gluten free roll stuck in the toaster as it was too thickso we had to hook it out with knife and fork. Also I somehow caused the hot water urn to leek all over the table and floor but they were quite understanding !

We have been coming here for 15 years and it was a shame that we had to bring up a complaint with the manageress, who I must say was very apologetic. The only let down, was from the room cleaner When we arrived, coffee, tea etc had not been stocked up. After the first night we went out in the village. We came back late at night at 9pm, to find our room had not been touched, no clean towels and no toilet roll. We ended up having to get toilet roll etc from the manageress who was on the bar at the time. Our room wasn't the only room untouched, as our friend who was in the next room, was in the same predicament. Not cleaned, no replacement towels and no toilet roll.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, food was good, plenty of choices to eat. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful, you only had to ask. They even catered for our German shepherd, who was delighted to be given freshly cooked sausages on both mornings. Well stocked bar, bit expensive, but everything has gone up, so you've got understand why. Hotel lovely and nice and warm with the log fire in the bar.

We were in room 19, right by the stairs so we heard whenever anyone was using the stairs, and we could hear slight music in the bar as we were right above it. This was not so much an issue for us but I know for other customers this could be a deal breaker. This was the only downside.

Staff were so kind and friendly! Food in restaurant in the evening was delicious, as well as a well stocked bar with lots of choice! Beautiful location and lots of history as hotel has been there for years! Super soft bedding and comfy bed. Good value for the price!

Room very small considering price tag and with 4 poster bed. On-suite bathroom even smaller wirh walk-in shower unusable due to being too small. Finish of room bit shabby and needs a refurb.

Location was superb, right on river Dochart running into Loch Tay. Staff very friendly and food good.
