Not enough towel rails in bathroom. Some rugs on the cold stone floor would have been good. The mattress in the room had sagged on one side and needs replacing.

In an ideal world (which we recognise, it isn't) it would have been good to have breakfast earlier than 8.30. We understand that it is in a remote location and not very easy to get staff in early.

The facilities in the room and the pub/restaurant were top notch. It was good to see that recycling was in operation in the room and the meals were excellent.

A few niggles: - Room not as cosy as it could be but still would stay again. - It was not very private. - there was no way of sorting soft lighting and energy saving lights were a bit harsh The room was not very cosy and sound travelled between room and corridor and adjoining room as if we were in same room. - It was slightly disconcerting having people walking past our room windows and looking in through our window while relaxing on our bed.

Whilst I have rated my stay here at 10 out of 10 I guess I found the price I paid maybe a little bit pricey for the short amount of time I was there. However, I cannot pick fault with any aspect of the hotel or the bar or the restaurant. Maybe I just would’ve preferred it to have been a little bit less of a hit on the cost.

It was very clean, the amenities and the utilities provided in the room made for an incredibly comfortable stay for me, my wife and my 2-year-old son and our golden retriever dog. Plenty of parking, the bar area and restaurant very accommodating for the dog, the atmosphere and general ambience of the place was, relaxing and friendly

As it was underfloor heating in the accommodation there was no where to dry your towels and several stone floor tiles were damaged in the bathroom. Phone charging ports and plug sockets were limited to only one side of the bed.

Very clean, modern and stylish room. Tea and coffee making facilities and a cooler fridge. As we were on the ground floor we were able to make use of the patio doors and have coffee outside listening to the birdsong.

I really cannot think of anything that could be improved upon. We had a fantastic stay and had no complaints. Great service from booking, during our stay from all the staff.

There is a great variety to choose from with the Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner menus. Each meal was cooked well, very tasty, and picture-perfect presentation, including the Doggie meals! Absolutely great service too!

There was no room checking during each day to see if we had enough tea..a small gripe..but overall a wonderful stay..

It was warm, clean, hot water, close to pub, great location to explore the Gower…we walked across the mountain hill in the moonlight to another pub…food was good in the Kings Head. We had a very relaxed romantic weekend catching the sun on the coastal walks and the moonlight on the mountain hill…room was very pleasant and comfortable.
