Just all totally fabulous. From the happy smiling welcoming receptionist who explained everything and showed me to my room. Offered to help carry a bag. Offered to help with a menu & evening meal reservation-to the room! Just everything-character,sumptuous bed everything you could want even down to a sachet of green tea in the room. I ordered a salad in the evening Pear Walnut & blue cheese? It was exceptional the best salad I’ve ever had all hand made & beautifully presented. Truely spoilt. Thank you. These places are rare to find.

I took a chance & got lucky on a Thursday evening to get a room. It’s a fabulous place so understandably fully booked on the Friday.

Colette the receptionist greeted me with a big welcoming smile and showed me to my room. After a long journey & challenging day I was fortunate they had a room. And I couldn’t have been happier, Collette was so kind offered to help with my bags, telling me about the bar and restaurant etc. Thank you. The Room had a huge sumptuous bed dressed in the finest white crisp linen-the room beautifully decorated. Attention to detail here-the best yet.

Charming old English village pub and hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds, superb location, amazing food, very comfortable and well appointed room, fast WiFi. The staff are absolutely amazing, so welcoming and friendly. I needed a late checkout due to circumstances beyond my control and they accommodated my request without hesitation. When my car key fob battery expired unexpectedly they even helped me replace the battery in it. Nothing was too much trouble and I cannot thank them enough.

This was our fifth stay here, and it was perfect as always. The staff were all very welcoming, and the room above the inn was lovely. The bed was so comfy. The evening meal was delicious, as was the breakfast that was cooked to order.

From the moment we stepped through the doors on a very busy Sunday afternoon we were greeted with a very friendly & warm welcome. We booked a night away with my sister & her husband..nothing too far..as we live in the Midlands The evening meal & breakfast were superb..along with the excellent service I cannot rate here high enough..Will definitely rebook.

Comfortable hotel in a nice location. Convenient to several towns and sights in the area. The restaurant had very good food and service. The room was a bit on the small side but as would be expected in a property like this.
