We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe bed had stains on the bedsheets out of 9 lightbulbs only 3 working, the side light had been snapped in half. Previous guest had left stuff in the room and not removed.
The hotel was what we expected For the price, unfortunately there was two empty boxes of trainers on the wardrobe and an old pair of work trousers left on top of the wardrobe. Definitely has not been checked or cleaned properly.

There was some dust in some corners of the room that could have been cleaned and the shower drainage was quite blocked. Apart of that general cleanliness was prefect. The Gandhi restaurant was something to die for, the food was amazing. It would have been nice if they provided breakfast in the restaurant as well. Overall I enjoyed my experience.

United KingdomOnly two complaints, peas left on floor from previous guess (wouldn’t normally mind) but my partner has a serious nut allergy, fortunately was a 2mins clean up job. Secondly, all of the milks by the tea making stations had gone off and after asking at the front of house for more milk they took over an hour to supply us with 3 more mouldy milks.
Last minute booking nearly a third in cost compared to larger hotels chains. Pretty much what I expected. Meet our needs.

New ZealandPlace was filthy! Didn’t look like it had been cleaned for a very long time. Mountains of dirt along skirting boards, in behind bedside cabinet, lots of mould on bathroom ceiling, hole in ceiling of bedroom with bird poo down the wall, several dishes of cigarette butts by the entrance way which was stinking, cobwebs all over bathroom window, shower and wall of bedroom. Didn’t look like it had been cleaned in between guests as found items which weren’t ours including an open box of condoms in the bedside drawer. The front door then locked us out and we couldn’t gain access to the building again despite having our key with us. The owners never told us this would happen or give us a key code to access the building. we rang the doorbell, knocked and rang all the telephone numbers provided which wouldn’t even connect and we had to wait 20mins outside in the cold until the cleaning lady turned up to let us in. I was so grateful to see her as we needed to get to the airport to catch a flight and some of our luggage was locked inside . Looks like nobody stays on site in the building to help assist. I would not recommend and certainly wouldn’t be staying here again.

United KingdomSheets did have marks and stains and the room had previous leaks stains on wall. Bed headers was dusty. Chairs had seen better days. The worst of all is that the room was above the kitchen restaurant so the cooking smell of Indian food was overwhelming... I love Indian food but coming back at night to fall asleep surrounded by this kitchen smell was really though. Surprisingly, the smell was completely gone in the morning so i suspect no one really notice until it is too late...So please avoid room 3....
