The only minor thing was the very beautiful cat came in and set my husbands eyes off as he’s allergic to them. But it did not deter from the experience

The apartment wasn’t really designed for four people. The sofa bed was quite uncomfortable – but we found a way to manage. the bed in the master bedroom was really comfortable

Carpets were stained and I don't think our room was vacuumed during the week we were there.

The pool has a really high last step. The only thing that let it down was the food offering. The Slip (hotel restaurant) was closed 2 of the days we were there, and then when it was open the freezer wasn’t working. All we wanted was some ice cream by the pool, but the hotel was unable to provide that which seems an easy thing to fix. The pancakes at breakfast were very hit and miss. 3 days running we asked for plain pancakes for my son (no banana). Only 2 out of the 3 did that work. One of the days they were hard and rubbery. The brunette waitress was very sullen, banging things down on the table and rolled her eyes when l asked if l could place a breakfast order when she came over to ask if we wanted tea/coffee.

The room was beautiful, and the guy at check in did a really great job of explaining everything and everything in a really welcoming way. The pool was fantastic. Open all the time, no restrictions. We really enjoyed that, and used the jet ski place directly opposite. Nice to have a fridge! The cooked breakfast was nice. Great views!! Comfy beds.

This is not a 5 star hotel, but 4 star, so it is actually quite expensive for what you get. The water pressure in our room on the top floor was too low. There were no hooks/shelves in the bathroom - putting them in would make a real difference. Although the food at breakfast was tasty, the coffee was poor and tepid.

The staff were friendly. Our bedroom and bathroom seemed to have been recently refurbished which was good. Bed was comfy. Great location on the edge of St Aubin, across the road from the beach. Lovely pool area. Good food at breakfast with a wide variety to choose from.

The location was perfect for where we wanted to be. The hotel arranged a taxi from the hotel which was a nice touch The staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome, and it has a heated pool.

Hotel needs a little upgrading and TLC in parts and there were staff shortages. However these are small niggles and didn’t impact on our stay. We are hoping to go back later this summer. For guests with mobility problems ask for rooms on ground floor as there are no lifts.

Fabulous location. So good we stayed there twice! Spacious and comfortable rooms. Hard working and friendly staff team. Special shout out to Manager Rami, Christina and Florian who made us so welcome. You are a credit to the hotel. Great breakfast! Lovely pool.

No lift

There was no lift and we have the very top floor so as a blue badge holder it was difficult for me but the staff were lovely and carried my bags down. breakfast was lovely.

Our only concern was that the hotel was very short staffed meaning that the staff that were there seemed under pressure. However this is not a situation unique to this hotel as we were told that there are issues with employing sufficient staff across the island. This small issue wouldn’t put us off and we have already booked again for later this week!

Breakfast was exceptional with loads of choice. My favourite was the pancakes which were beautifully presented and also the very tasty omelettes. The chef was excellent. There is not an opportunity to dine in house for evening meals but the hotel has a lovely cafe bar ‘The Slip’ which is situated on the beach opposite the hotel. We had one evening meal there which was good and enjoyed their berry smoothies. Rami the hotel manager was extremely helpful and courteous, as were all the staff

Room 10 Cleanliness in the room the neck of the shampoo bottle in the shower was grimy. Sand in the drawers. Toothpaste in the drawer in the bathroom. Would have been nice if the hotel cars were up and running - having a lift to local restaurants would be a nice touch.
