The lodge was not as clean as when we'd previously visited and some things had not been looked after (ripped material on sofa,etc) The jacuzzi bath did not work but previously did.

The park is within reasonable distance of loads of things. Love how dog friendly it is too.

Kitchen did have a fried food smell - went after opening windows however. Bath towels aren't supplied but mats and hand towels are - not really an issue! Just wasn't aware and had to borrow from family locally.

Location was great Beds comfy Check in was easy - checked in out of hours. Not sure check in times on booking.com are correct Out of hours helpful - I rang when struggled to locate the bungalow and very helpful. Hot water was great! Sometimes bad in these places! Overall good value for money in winter

Had to complain about other residents being a nuisance as kids banging on windows until gone 10pm at night. Tricky to get hold of security. In all the time I've been holidaying in the UK have never experienced this kind of behaviour, Shower leaked in main bedroom en suite Disappointing that pool was closed & we weren't advised of this until we arrived at the site. Asked if we could use sister site but they implied this wasn't an option due to numbers

Lodge was lovely & spacious & clean. Plenty of room for all the family Hot tub checked every day & water topped up as necessary Beautiful setting & close to get everywhere we wanted to go

Decor outdated, felt like it hasn't had a revamp since the 90s, the bathrooms being the worst, tops of beds were dusty. The desks were dusty. Check in times are far too late at 5pm, when everywhere else is 3pm, but we paid extra for early check in. Check out at 9 is too early, only to be told we can check out at 10. Wish the hot tub area was closed off, my toddler would make a run for it at any given chance. A recycling bin inside the bungalow would have been great. There wasn't a sweeping brush, so after a walk we unexpectedly trod grass everywhereeee and had to just leave it.

Loved the location close proximity to family who lived close by. Layout and size of the bungalow spot on. Was great having 3 bathrooms for 5 of us. Nice and quiet location. Didn't hear any other guests. Great price.

Entertainment lacked at night time to be honest. We went one night and either the singer had finished or wasn't on. The 2nd time we did see her for about 20 mins. Nothing for kids at night.

Loved the accommodation layout, was fab, especially with 2 teenage girls. Having washer/dryer made hige difference and airing cupboard. Great location.

Just a couple of niggly things....2 of the showers were blocked & filled up with water very quickly, so our shower time was cut short. And on a couple of occasions there wasn't enough hot water for 3 of us to shower.

The area was beautiful & we liked the Size of our bungalow.

Could have done with a welcome booklet or something which explained where the dishwasher tablets etc were kept. We found them on the last day in a box that looked like it was for teabags! Also, when we arrived on a very warm day, the place was absolutely stifling and it turns out the central heating was on full blast! These are very minor things though, overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Spacious lodges with everything you could need for a weekend or week away, and a bonus to be able to park right outside too. We didn't get a chance to explore the grounds much and the facilities were all closed while we were there, so we would definitely book again to explore a bit more. Overall a great stay and, in my opinion, excellent value for money.

Swimming pool not open until later in the month but hadn't seen anything saying that before arrival. On-site shop hours not very convenient.

Cleanliness second to none, grounds well kept and tidy. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Good overall value. Will definitely be back.

Facilities were not open when we were there but we were aware of this before we arrived. Not much within walking distance but again we knew this so no probs.

Very clean self catering accommodation. Spotless, comfy beds and a bathroom per bedroom which makes life easier when staying with a group of friends.

No basic site facilities such as a bar on site were still not open, which I believe are due to be opening some time this Summer; Wifi was not working for 6/7 days of stay. No communication of this Wifi problem which I was very disappointed about, as we could not access any streaming services such as nowtv/youtube/Netflix etc.

Early check in saved a lot of stress waiting around (using a keypad to obtain the key) as reception was unexpectedly closed. The site central position near Bodmin in Cornwall gave us a great base to visit North and south Cornwall. Comfortable and clean accommodation.
