Bog brush was bald and the tray for the coffees/teas could have been cleaner; but it suited a work trip just fine.

Breakfast ends at 09:30. I arrived at 09:00 and there weren't many food options. The other guests who arrived earlier ate everything and there was no replacement.

There is car parking, a pleasant outdoor area, a clean and comfortable room.

We chose a small double room which certainly lived up its description, we will choose a standard double next time we visit.

Bistro menu was disappointing. Very limited selection and more pub grub than bistro. Continental breakfast only was offered which we didn’t expect. Upgraded to a larger room for a bigger bed but this wasn’t available and the bed was so small in the room we were given my husband fell out of it.

Our room was a little difficult for us to get to with all the stairs ,however able bodied people should be no problem.

I was woken up by a spider in the morning. Otherwise, I'd give this place a 10/10.

The experience from the moment we arrived and found a letter with a handwritten message and a key, till the morning with great Welsh breakfast, was lovely. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and I enjoyed the hotel's interior design.

It was a lovely warm/hot evening and we were sat outside about 9.00 ish when suddenly all the lights outside on the patio were put out and the bar seemed to shut. A little disappointing as no one asked if we wanted another drink etc.

Dinner with our relation and breakfast the following morning were both very good. Our rom was a lovely family room and very well appointed. the staff were friendly and attentive

Towels were a bit small, hot water didn’t seem to want to work (early start so couldn’t get help) noisy at night and very warm so didn’t sleep well

WiFi was poor. Couldn't get a reliable connection from the room, it kept dropping out. However, I struggled to get a mobile phone signal while I was out exploring too, so I think that must be just how things are in that corner of the country.

Rooms a bit dated. We ate in the evening, my ribeye steak was pretty good, loved the french fries, but my mates swordfish wasn't good.

Our room had steps to go down into it, and there was a step in the bathroom too, which was quite close to the sink. Quite nervous about stepping back too far and falling - I sometimes aren’t very steady on my feet.

Breakfast was tasty with reasonable quality ingredients but VERY oily, which spoiled it. It seemed like everything that could be deep fried had been, and not drained. You could almost wring out the sausage and hash browns!

Dinner was delicious - a real surprise. Staff helpful and room clean and comfortable.

Our only criticism of our stay was the mattress. We both felt we were going to roll out of bed when the other one moved.

Room dated, cobwebs on ceiling above bed they were there all week! No bins to put bagged dog waste in. Breakfast finished to early 09.00 even on a weekend

Rooms were not serviced after first night. Had to ask for more loo roll. Coffee and tea facilities were not replenished. Bathroom floor very slippy. Only one bedside light.
