Breakfast - the choice of food was good but the cooked breakfast was STONE COLD and had probably been sitting on the counter for ages to be so cold. We had a room over looking the main rd which unfortunately had traffic moving alright so not such a sleep.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly.

Overpriced food in the restaurant. A salad with chicken at £18 then couldn't eat it as it was the stems of the lettuce and roots. Very poor standard for evening meal. Breakfast was really good plenty of choice

The health club wasn't quite as luxurious as I remembered. The guys on the desk were very friendly but they didn't give me a towel and I had to ask for one. Also there was some kind of exercise class going on and I could hear the music from my room and I was on the second floor (!) but fortunately it calmed down after a couple of hours. I think the stay was quite expensive but all hotels are expensive at the moment and I really enjoyed my time there. I couldn't turn the radiator down which meant it was very hot.

Breakfast was excellent. It was nicer than the breakfast that I had in a fancy, hip cafe in town. The bed was very comfortable. I liked the size of the room. I like that there were plenty of places to sit without having to leave the hotel. It was also pleasant talking to other guests - it made it feel friendly, especially as I was a solo traveller. All the staff were very friendly and willing and they helped carry my bags up to the room which made a big difference to me. This was my third or fourth stay at the hotel and I would definitely go again.

The heating stayed on all night, which I tried to turn off using the counter valve at the bottom of the radiator, but couldn't!! I still slept well, but the room could have been a bit cooler!! I also wanted a cup of tea, however, there were no little uht milk pots, as I like milk with my tea. You had everything else to make a hot drink, but said item wasn't there, which for me was a little disappointing!!

It was spacious and comfortable for the short time I was there. I slept well due to no noise or interruptions from other guest. It was a pleasant experience and stay.I would recommend this to anyone who is thinking of booking a room in your hotel!!

Just not suitable for my disiblities! Breakfast Shambles Wet floor next too lift from pool

It was all young very young staff,Breakfast was shambles stuff all over the place so disorganized. They had a pool was not well maintened just free for all boy just sat behind his desk ready behind glass window.Im Disabled so its not for me its my first visit too these Hotels not for me , My room was straight above main entrance I had the biggest room i ever been in and Glass window shape Lovely Need firmer mattresses and definetly new pillows not as if your lying on cotton wool. Good Luck too the young girl whos took over .

The food. Breakfast wasn't always replenished so didn't get the full choice of options. The quality was lower than you would expect for this type of hotel. The coffee machine wasn't working for 2 mornings and the tables weren't set so you'd have to scramble for cutlery from other tables.

The staff were very friendly and the facilities were good.

The cost cutter toilet paper was cheap. Some of the chairs in the restaurant have seen better days. And for my preference, the mattress was far too soft.

Mattress was very hard

Breakfast was lovely although things had started to run out when we arrived for breakfast at 9am. No bread for toast. Room was a good size and the sofa bed was made up ready for our little boy. Swimming pool was a lovely bonus.

Didn't like the 10% service charge automatically charged when purchasing drinks from the bar and asking for it be be removed. Was told it supplements staff wages. Better idea PAY YOUR STAFF A DECENT WAGE rather than having to reply on a service charge. Might help with recruitment. Badly stocked bar with regard brandy (1 choice) and no single malt whisky.
