Our second stay at Lindeth Fell as it never disappoints. You may find cheaper properties in Bowness but you won’t get better. Highly recommended

My room was too hot The ceiling lights flickered on low I chose not to report this as I was so at home in the public rooms

I had no car but I had a glorious morning walk down to boats and buses and took a taxi back at 5 I was happy to stay in as dinner and service was excellent Sliwing down and watching go the lake to appear and disappear had a meditative effect

Comfortable stay with a sleep-inducing bed and powerful shower. Good standard B&B. All members of the hotel team were friendly and keen to help including putting our preferred tea in the room. The homemade shortbread was also lovely!

evening meal could have been much better, lack of choice on menu , although presentation was fine , amount received was disappointing however it was tasty. lack of draft beer was surprising , however still enjoyed what bottled beer was available.

Surrounding gardens and landscape needs more regular maintenance and upkeep. However, hotel staff mentioned that renovation works for this area in the pipeline.

Staff are so welcoming and are the absolute best. Location is excellent. Few minutes away from town centre and other neighboring areas. The rooms very spacious and clean. Breakfast was lovely.

Only disappointment was evening tea small selection to chose from but the food was good so carnt complain to much just a bigger selection would have been better Breakfast was 1st class my partner is funny with food and she enjoyed it a lot

A lovely welcoming guesthouse, perfect if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing weekend. Yet still very close to Windermere with its restaurants and shops. Immaculately clean, with lovely comfortable beds a high standard menu, and warm friendly staff.

The property itself was exceptional. From the decor right through to the food. The tranquility of the gardens along with the local wildlife is absolutely incredible. What makes it even better is that the host love to hear what you have seen whilst out and about.

Heating in the room was intermittent. Wasn't clear whether a bath was included when booking: room had a shower only.

This is a really lovely hotel. The room we were staying in has clearly been recently renovated and was so clean. The staff were lovely and when we asked for more milk came and brought us some fresh milk in a thermos. Breakfast was lovely and the service was really great.

Conveniently located with where I was going. What stood out was the friendliness of the staff and how the communication has been great from the moment I made an enquiry and was well-reflected throughout my stay. Well-equipped facilities, room was clean and bed was comfortable and overall temp control was good and food and drinks were great too, especially enjoyed the range of teas and coffees served in the room. Thoroughly enjoyed my NYE meal I booked with them! Good recommendations for things to do locally and everyone was more than happy to help with any queries. Overall a very pleasant place to stay and will definitely come again when I visit the Lakes next.

Hidden gem! Staff were absolutely lovely, breakfast was great with lots of options whilst sat with amazing views, room was super cosy. Lovely cosy welcoming feel to the whole place. Easy, quick check in & out.

The location is a bit away from the nearest town which is Bowness on Windermere. On a sunny day it is fine but otherwise you won't be able to walk to and fro. You need a taxi to ferry you up and down which can cost 4 to 5 pounds one way.

Warm, cozy, homely atmosphere. Very courteous staff, good food, beautiful rooms. Fabulous surroundings and view of lake Windermere.
