Quite steep road up to lingwood if you are less able. Steps up to entrance maybe a problem for some.

The location is ideal for visiting Bowness and all it's attractions. Nice to have parking. Rooms a good size and very clean. Coffee machine and tea making facilities. Gina was very friendly and helpful. Giving us ideas where to eat locally.

Although we knew that breakfast was not included in the price, finding and getting to a good cafe proved tedious. The ruckus made by two guests in the room next to us, returning after midnight, kept us awake for two nights. Thankfully, they had gone by the third night! The shower temperature could not be controlled; it was either very cold or extremely hot. We only used it once, very briefly. The slope of the driveway is very steep. To avoid this, we always returned by taxi.

We enjoyed out time in Bowness, especially the ferry boat trip on Windermere. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Sandra and Carl were very attentive hosts.

Sandra is a helpful and delightful host with a wealth of local info to help you decide on what to do in the area. The room was quiet and very comfortable. The lodge is a quick 10min walk into town and lake side attractions.

The locations of the property, was two minutes walk from the main lake pier and then another few minutes to the shops and restaurants. It has parking, so no worry about that in a busy tourist location. Sandra and Carl, were great and very helpful. They accommodated our additional requests.

The room was small and rather uncomfortable. There was supposed to be a fridge in the room- but it wasn’t working (in two other rooms the same problem)

I didn't like the parking as it is all up hill and my car struggled to go forward once I had stopped (I do have a small run around car).

The bed is super comfy and the views from the front are stunning. The room is very cozy.

Location was excellent within walking distance of town centre and the lake. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and provided tea, coffee along with an assortment of biscuits and muffins which was a nice touch. Our host Sandra greeted us warmly and was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area.

The owner is very helpful and friendly with a prompt reply to your question.. Great location with easy access to nearby attractions and the town centre. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the view from the window was stunning. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay overall. Highly recommend.
