Nothing much, obviously there’s not much in the area on foot and decor isn’t the most modern but these are minor points!

This was reasonably priced and clean accommodation that was in a great location for our 2 night stay, as we wanted to both visit Bath and also Stonehenge by car. We were comfortable and there were no noise issues from the pub by the time we went to bed each night (between 10:30 and 11:30pm). The highlight for us was honestly the food - don’t miss the restaurant if you stay here! We would honestly go out of our way if we were ever within an hour’s drive to eat here again. Excellent Nepalese food, fantastic flavours, plenty for vegetarians and overall great portion sizes and value for money.

Nothing could of been different, car park was full , needed to move my car into the car park later in the evening.

Breakfast was good , unfortunately the road into the village was closed, 2 mile detour each time , at least that won’t be there for long .

Breakfast excellent although it cost us more than what was originally stated on booking. Com. Bed comfortable although room decor was a little tired and could do with updating. Staff very friendly.

What's not to like!!!

The friendly atmosphere, the locals made a huge effort to make us feel so welcome. The room was spotless and bed really comfy. Added bonus was the amazing restaurant. omg the food so Delicious. If you are in the area pop in, you will not be disappointed (booking advised as mega popular) Thank you for the lovely weekend

I don't think you could do anything else to make it better here.

We really like the breakfast here and we also made sure we ate a good breakfast .This meant that we had a good start to our days out .We found it was a got location for meeting up with family and friends that live in the local area where we were staying. The weather could have been a bit better but you can't change the weather forecast.

It’s not in an area close to shops, if you don’t have a vehicle.

Very welcoming helpful friendly staff. I found this lovely place while looking for somewhere to stay close to family. I felt very comfortable as a single female traveller. Lovely food! Room was very clean. Nothing to much trouble.

On arrival the property was in total darkness because of a power cut - so no heating, lighting, bar or restaurant. As a result I had to go somewhere else for several hours. On my return, lighting was restored but my room was freezing. The inconvenience of that first day was considerable, especially as I had travelled 200 miles to get there; no facilities were available, I couldn't have a shower, and some form of compensation would be appropriate.

Rarely do you find a property that rates so highly in all areas. Location - very convenient, food, amazing, staff - polite, friendly, professional, room - clean, comfortable, lovely decor. Quality!!

Fantastic stay all round. Very clean, comfortable, staff were welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely. We even ate in the restaurant one evening, that food was also delicious. Would happily stay again and recommend to others.

The additional charge of £10pp for breakfast we felt was a bit excessive, especially as this was a blanket price no matter how much or little you ate. The stairs up to the bedrooms are quite steep and narrow which may be difficult for some to negotiate.

The property was in a good location with easy access to other major routes. The standard of food was very good, although not included in the original price. The noise levels were pretty good despite the rooms being above the bar, and overlooking the main road. Not sure if it would be the same in the height of summer

The earliest booking in time is 5 o’clock which suited us on this occasion but generally most places book you in earlier in the afternoon.

This is an excellent, family run hotel. The staff are friendly and polite and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. This is our second day. It was unfortunate that our room had been double booked for the first night but the owner found another hotel for that night. It was more expensive but he paid the difference and gave us a voucher to use in their restaurant on the second night. Mistakes can happen and we were impressed by the way it was dealt with and will certainly stay there again.

Only one minor point. It would have been good to have had the room made up ahead of the 2nd nights stay, replenishing tea/coffee etc

The breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and well presented. The staff were all very pleasant and the room was very clean with a decent shower. Ideal for a short stay.
