Personal choice pillows were a little too flat for my liking. TV at night couldn't get a signal.

Spa facilities were good, the room was great. The beds were really comfortable.

Some of the property was a little worn and it’s the small things that let it down a bit I.e., the decoration, room touch ups needed, our toilet roll holder was broken and wouldn’t take much to fix it, no mirror in room (apart from bathroom), no herbal tea. We also paid £15 to use the fancier spa facilities but then realised that anyone using the pool was just swanning between the two parts of the leisure/spa facilities without anyone checking or keeping an eye on that which felt a bit disappointing that there was no clear differentiation.

Loved the location, the layout, the surroundings, the offer of facilities, reception staff were so polite and helpful. Everything was lovely and clean!

Expensive bar - 2 G&T’s £15 Poor wifi in bedroom TV confusing to use Decor in corridors is dated, far too many lights, must be a more sustainable way to light the corridors Plastic cups in leisure club for water could be replaced with paper cones that can be recycled

Spacious room, nicely decorated and everything we needed Lovely breakfast - good selection Good that we could use the health club after checkout Lovely touch with a birthday plate in the room for daughters birthday

We stayed for valentines night and the food was rather below par. Nothing special at all and portion sizes were a bit on the mean side.

We had a lovely room once the floor was dry. Room was clean and nice and quiet in the evening and at night.

The sound proofing seemed very odd. You could hear everything when walking along the corridor to the rooms. My sister was staying in the room opposite mine (we didn't know this as we checked in at different times) and she called me to say she heard me laughing and figured out we were opposite each other. It was a bit unnerving. The menus also seemed out of date in every location. The website dining menu does not match what is on site, I was told in Cafe Ash that the menu didn't match their cold drink selection and in the bar I asked for a drink from their menu and they said they don't stock any of that brand. This should be looked at.

The room was lovely and the bathroom was exquisite. The restaurant was great as were the spa facilities. It was an overall great all-rounder and I would stay here again. The TV was situated a bit high from the bed so it caused neck ache while watching but it was great that you could access streaming apps while there.

House keeping standards let the overall experience down, the hotel building internally is very dated and needs attention in areas making it feel more 3 star

The thin walls. Was kept awake until after 4am by the people in the next room. So all our relaxation and pampering was undone by 2 selfish people. Given that the hotel wasn't full capacity, would have made sense to spread guest's out a bit more. This probably would put me off returning and thought most people would be there for a relax like us, but obviously not.

The sauna, steam room and pool all great. All appeared well maintained and clean. Staff all helpful. Room was decent, (although bedspread had a hole in it) had everything one needed. Bed comfy and good outlook. Didnt mind the traffic noise in the distance, far away enough not to be a nuisance.

Dinner menu isn't suitable for vegetarian as not much choice, same for breakfast (most breakfast buffets have vegetarian sausages etc). Drinks are very expensive and the spa facilities where poor standard. Jacuzzi not working and light fitting on pool floor with wires showing inside the pool.

Beautiful location and barman was super friendly and helpful on Sunday night. The rooms are lovely and comfortable.

It was my partner’s birthday on the day of our arrival (and mine two days before on the wednesday) and I emailed the hotel twice requesting they do a little something in the room, however, this request was ignored. The receptionist said happy birthday to him when we arrived so clearly they had seen my request. I was annoyed about this because I didn’t ask for much, most hotels would do something lovely and it wouldn’t be a bother. The hotel itself wasn’t good. The ceilings in the hall ways were so low down and the carpets looked dated and worn out. The walls were so thin we could hear our neighbours blink. The bathroom was so small you could barely fit two people in there at a time. If the bathroom door was open you couldn’t get into the shower. The room was also pretty small, with a table and chairs in the way of actually being able to open the doors to the balcony bit. For £160 a night it wasn’t worth it at all. The only good thing was the spa facilities but even so, we didn’t have full access. The staff were not very attentive. We asked for some ice for the room and it took them over an hour and a half to bring it. Had to ask a second time. There was no mini fridge in the room which was really disappointing as we had to keep going to the garage for cold drinks. Overall we were really disappointed with our stay, wish we had chosen somewhere else to go for our birthdays considering we were both turning 25 and it was our only time to celebrate. Been to spas a lot better than this one. Not worth the money at all.

The spa facilities were great, honestly our favourite part of the stay. There were so many different rooms and sections to go into such as the steam room, sauna, spa, swimming pool, a room with hanging beds, etc.

    - there was pictures advertised on your website that look nothing like what we got - such as the bedrooms & the ice cave which apparently no longer available to use. - I didn’t like the fact the jacuzzi was broken and everyone was allowed to use the thermal spa where we had to pay extra. - no vending machine - no place to get fizzy drinks or snacks unless you went to the bar. -bedrooms were very outdated compared to what is shown on the website

    - restaurant - the food - the gym - Spa facilities
