Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSpiders and webs in the kitchen cupboards. Those 'spindly' ones! Also in the entrance hall. A dishwasher would be welcome. We found it a little hard to find but that could have been our Sat Nav and we saw a bit more of the countryside!
Lovely little place just big enough for the two of us and our small dog. Benefits from a completely enclosed garden, which we were really grateful for. Modern finish inside the property. Very quiet. Parking for our car right outside the door. Privacy. The village(s) serve you well for food and drink (2 pubs 2 convenience stores, Indian restaurant and takeaway, Chinese and fish and chip takeaway, and a small independent pizza takeaway. Rosy Lee's tearooms are a must visit). The comings and goings in the marina in the centre keep you entertained.and there's about a 2 mile circular walk too through countryside and along the river. Owner very helpful when we got lost.

United KingdomNo instructions for the oven or built in microwave (lots of settings Id never seen and coundnt figure out so used increments of 30 seconds in the end!) but it added to the fun. We did try the underfloor heating (which was supposed to be switch on and hey presto) but it only worked in the lobby so just more than made do with the plug in fire (which was more than enough actually as only needed for a little in the evenings watching tv due to mild weather)- more instructions would have helped us sort it but didnt fancy bothering the hosts even though only just next door .
Location was convenient but also in the country. Formally a Granny-annex so has everything including a private garden. Lovely home from home and comfy beds. Plenty of hot water in the shower and even a washing machine!

United KingdomIt was difficult to find the house for the first time - no signs regarding any Lupin along the road, so we had to call the host for instructions. The bathroom is very tiny.
Good size apartment with modern kitchen, small private garden and parking spot just outside the door. Clean and comfortable. Lovely location

United KingdomSmall niggles like no instructions for the halogen hob and electric oven. WiFi was inconsistent. Would also have liked some local information, dog parks etc Bed was too short for my 6ft 2 hubby
The accommodation was clean and well set out. Lovely place to stay and explore the local area. Great to be able to take our 3 dogs at no extra cost and have a secure garden for them to go into. Would recommend it to others

United KingdomOnly thing we’d say is that the sofa was a bit uncomfortable. Oh and I pushed the sink plug closed in bathroom and couldn’t open it again.
It was great, had everything we needed, smelt really nice, bedding etc. We took our two dogs and they really enjoyed the garden (they couldn’t get out) and the late night hedgehog! We’ll probably stay again, thanks!

United KingdomReally really minor quibbles but I felt a full-sized kettle would've made such a difference; as would having a couple of matching wine glasses and knife/fork set, etc. With everything else to such a lovely standard; these small fixes would really make it close to perfect!
Lovely little spot, a bit tricky to find initially with map/postcode provided - but once we spotted the name of the main house on our 2nd drive by - we figured that must be it. It's a great set-up for a short stay; a good size for a 1-bed property plus access to a private garden; super quiet location along a country lane, so very peaceful at night, etc. Responsive host too.

United KingdomMaybe that because there were only two high stools at the table there was no way all 4 of us could sit there to eat or play games together. That said, games were provided and we managed to play sitting on the floor!
The location is superb! The property is modern, clean, with lots of extras and a really beautiful garden… perfect to sit in. It is also perfectly situated to explore around the area.

SingaporeJust that on days when we were tired or when it rained, it felt like a long walk up Snow Lane to Little Lupin. But we were prepared for this as it's the closest place to my son's school.
Breakfast was not included but Jenny did leave a pack of scones for our pleasure. It is a 20 min walk to the bus stop - all within expectations. Beautiful place to walk around as well. Would definitely stay here again when I'm back in Lodden.

United KingdomVery friendly and helpful hosts. Easy check in... we arrived late but this did not cause a problem. Excellent size and facilities for a couple but did work with one teenager on sofa bed and the second on camp bed (kindly provided free by host) for a long weekend. However not enough chairs to all sit at breakfast bar together for meals... was not a problem as visiting and eating with relatives. Superb, secure garden if you have a dog (which we do). Particularly well designed so can leave front door open and dog is secure and has access to garden. Lovely walks straight from the appartment. Plenty of parking by front door. Location great for Loddon, Beccles and not far from Norwich. Easy access to the rivers. Thoughtful bottle of wine on arrival and spotlessly clean throughout.
