Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIn all honesty there was nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect. My only regret is I didn't try the bbq out!
We loved the location. You have a great view of pendle hill and the rest of the valley right outside your pod door. We were met by a lovely lady who showed us around. The site it's self is very clean and tidy looking. I found out the whole field is being turned into a wildflower meadow. Paths around the site were mowed clear of wildflower. At the time of giving this review the whole field is full of buttercups. It's beautiful. Near the communal kitchen is a small herb garden. It looks like rosemary, parsley, lavender and mint are growing there. The kitchen was spotless and clean. I loved the retro door into it. While we stayed we were upgraded to the pod that has a burner in it. I was glad we had it because when we woke up the next day it was quite windy and cold but once I got the burner on it got nice and toasty. We liked the layout of the pod and it was very comfortable inside. Outside each pod there are bbqs and a fire. We loved sitting around the fire chatting away until the stars came out then the full moon. If you like nature this is the place for you. We saw so many birds here and butterflies. The site has a composting toilet which was spotless and was one of the reasons we chose this place. It didn't bother us in the slightest that the site is next to a road. One of the owners came over to give us some beer which was very kind of them. We were both made to feel very welcome and we hope to return in the future.

United KingdomThe warm welcome upon arrival. Early check in was an added bonus and free upgrade. Complimentary beers was great. The Pods were so comfy. We had all we needed for a very wet and windy stay. The view....... just wow! I felt I had hit my reset button. It was amazing. The kitchen was brilliant. Everything you need to cook (whilst staring at them views) Toilet was the toilet. No problem there. I love the wild flower project. My dog loved rolling on them (and getting soaked) All in all we loved it and couldn't fault it

The location was beautiful and we really enjoyed relaxing in the evening by the fire. The pods were very cute and self contained. Great to have usb charging available. The wood fire sauna was a fabulous bonus! The kitchen pod had everything you needed to be able to self cater comfortably. The owners were very friendly, informative and responsive.

United KingdomDidn’t want to leave!
Absolutely loved this place - we had Eden the largest pod so very spacious, Val and Jack were fantastic hosts - even produced 0% beers for us which is impressive. On top of a beautiful view sat around the fire (with chimney so no smoke in the eyes!) we later witnessed the Northern Lights!!!! Totally stunning.

United KingdomAlthough fine for us and caused no problem the pods are close to the road and traffic noise can be heard. For those looking for total solitude be aware.....
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was wonderful. We had a great stay at Little Middop. Our welcome was warm and friendly as were all of the interactions with the hosts. The pod and the facilities are superb. The view was exceptional. Thankfully the weather smiled on us and we were able to remain outside.

United KingdomDouble bunk beds were fine but a bit hard to get out of if you need the toilet in the night
The views were amazing and having a wood burning stove kept us cozy until the weather improved and we could sit around the outside fire. The horse box kitchen was really well kitted out. The hosts were so generous and helped us celebrate our adult daughter's birthday by giving us a bottle of fizz.
