Comment: There was a full length blind at the window in the bathroom which overlooked the garden area with tables and the car park. Perhaps a half net curtain (it's a sash window) might offer a bit of privacy during daylight hours without the need for pulling the blind down.

The location and quiteness. Old house with tilting floor - feeling like I was drunk, which I was not. Fair service and very nice bar maid.

Our room could have done with a small table and it's a bit of trek to get to the rooms but those are minor gripes in an otherwise very pleasant stay.

Dropped in to this inn a few years ago, just for a drink but thought that we would come back at a later date for a stay for a few days. Very pleasantly surprised. A great range of food and drink with reasonable prices. The young lady who ran the bar must come in for special mention as she ran the bar single-handedly all night serving drink, taking orders for food, serving food and clearing tables - a real asset. Rooms were comfortable and quiet and the beds soon ensured we were off in the land of Nod in no time. A brisk walk would get you into the town centre and railway station in less than five minutes and there's a Tesco around the corner. Ample on site parking.

Quaint, quiet and confidently very close to the train station. Pub downstairs with good food too. Plus they offer a nice breakfast!

The bathroom light was on a sensor and was continuously going off while I was in the shower/bathroom

Cooked breakfast was nice and also our evening meal and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and the location good for our walks in the Elan valley and around llandrindod wells.

Not really a negative but this is a locals bar so can be noisy. This didn’t affect us at all.

Good room with updated bathroom. Burger in the bar was delicious. Good parking.

Water pressure in the shower wasn’t great but probably not the pubs fault as we have the same at home.

For what we paid we can’t complain at all, clean and comfortable room with plenty of space. We ate in the pub the evening of our stay and the food was superb. There is a play park and a safe grassy area for the kids to burn off steam at the front.

Another small shelf in the bathroom would be nice.

It was great having a pub with good food and drinks. The people were very nice. The inn is a good balance between modern facilities/expectations and keeping the character of an old building.

I got in quite late after the band had finished so thought it might be a bit quieter but noisy neighbours who'd had a bit too much to drink kept me up for a bit. Not really the hotel's fault and eventually got to sleep thanks to the earplugs.

Lovely room with pretty view. Comfy bed. Tasty breakfast. Easygoing and helpful staff. Perfect location.

The bedroom doors weren't great. Very flimsy and felt like they were temporary MDF panels. That being said we stayed in the family room and it was great value.

A real pub ! Basic but very comfortable rooms with a lovely traditional pub atmosphere. Good, generous sized and economical food. Fine beer. We much enjoyed our stay and will do so again.

Could hear the noise from the bar until about 11.30, but not unexpected as this is a pub.
