The view from our room, for the price we paid we were overlooking the roof which was disappointing especially when I upgraded a few weeks before our stay and all we got was a bigger bed.

The view was lovely when sat near a window in the restaurant, bar or outside. The spa was lovely just not many beds/chairs out side. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional.

You are expected to book your spa time, breakfast and dinner before you arrive. That is not what I expect or what I am used to from a quality hotel. The dinner options were expensive and a minimum of 2 courses at the brasserie. The lift was very small. The dog friendly conservatory was not available due to weddings. Our lake view room was small for the price.

The location was fabulous, the whole hotel was smart and comfortable and the food was good. The ability to book decent rooms with a dog and being able to breakfast and dine with our dog was great.

Amazing views from both the spa and hotel . We had a beautiful well decorated room with balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. The photos don’t do it justice !

I really like the spa facilities that’s was nice I didn’t like the pan Asian restaurant there was to many staff asking you every minute if we need anything and the food was poor I had a tasteless ramen pork I tell the waiter is was bad and need salt and pepper the pudding was was the hottest part of the meal which was ice cream

We were not told that the main hotel was under renovation so no access to the Lakeside View restaurant. Apparently due to open mid March 2024.

Stunning location and Spa.. beautiful views and walks and the food in Miso was fabulous and the suite we booked was huge … one of the nicest rooms I’ve stayed in!

Refurb going on we wasn’t told about when booking! Lots of compromises as a consequence. Poor WiFi. No movies, sky, Netflix or Amazon in rooms so the large screen tvs a bit pointless! Dark nights and with a teenager in tow this is a deal breaker! No in-room info on hotel or room services or even list of numbers for hotel areas or reception?? Poor breakfast choice and some staff very scruffy serving us - not at this price of hotel, you would expect staff to be impeccably dressed! Not wearing mud strewn trainers and slept in hair!! At this price of hotel we would have expected much better!!

Not as clean as would expect - food on dining room floor, bed runner matted and soiled, clothing and food scraps of rooms previous occupancy still evident in room. Decor in room starting to look worn. No Tv remote.

Was very dated and walls being thin. This was expressed to be updated in the new renovation of the building when everything was closed down. It was almost as if they had set everything up for us coming and going as when we came and left everything was here and gone and gave off strange vibes.

Was beautiful place and came with couple but very missleading. It does not explain in the main fine print that u need to pay extra for the spa… £35 extra during weekend. Since they closing down. I understand this being higher but with this being a unknown location I get it being lower in price

Wifi was awful in the room. The room was very cold and we had to ring reception to get a heater. I think for the money, eventhough we got a much reduced offer, we didnt feel as well looked after as we have in other hotels/spa hotels.

Breakfast was amazing however we got it served to the room and it could have been a bit warmer. The location is obviously incredible.
