How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I am disabled and had an accessible room HOWEVER it the shower / wet room there was no bench / seat on which to sit for a shower, which made it very difficult for me to shower!!

Restaurant didn’t feel inviting after our flight, room had smell of old socks and was as basic as a Travel Lodge !
Didn’t have breakfast, was it included?? Was easy to find from airport via Satnav, glad to see bar/restaurant included - but not very impressed in reality! Had stayed at Premier Inn the week before and definitely better value, size and comfort and had lovely meal in adjoining Steakhouse.

The room was tiny. The room was a very strange shape. We had 2 large suit cases from our flight home but no where to put them conveniently. The bed was almost up against the wall, there was hardly any room to get round the bed. It was noisy. We heard people in their bathroom & walking about & talking in the corridor even though it was around midnight. The room was in poor condition (007). It had drill holes in the tiles. It did not look warmly welcoming. It looked bleak & a bit prison like! It had a grey curtain that looked poor quality. It all looked a bit poor quality & we didnt feel it gave us the end of holiday feeling we wanted. We thought it was not for us ever again.
It was a reasonable price. Parking was easy & free. We arrived late at night & there was no problem getting in. The staff were very kind & pleasant. We were extremely tired after travelling back from holiday & they treated us gently. The room was on the ground floor. Although not huge the bed was quite comfortable. We weren't cold in the night. There was heating on in the morning & it was warm in the room.

The shower was ever so slow if you wanted a warm or hot shower! Also, no awareness that you had to tell reception if you wanted the room cleaned! After a few days of having the sign on the door, I went downstairs to ask to be told I had to inform them first

That despite online booking,they overbooked and no room was available for us
Hotel overbooked and there was no room available in Ramada itself and then they accommodated me in another location called days inn , which caused little delay and hassle as we already mention we will check in late so when we reached Ramada and we came to know no room available so it was bit distressing

Arrival was not good. We checked-in at half past midnight due to flight delays. On our arrival we was promptly sent to the wrong room which we attempted to access against an obstructed door. This was quite upsetting as our intrusion woke and startled the room occupants who where sleeping. This mix up was quickly resolved.
Room 101 was a well equipped room which was clean in every respect. Easy to make internet booking.. Price of a single night for two adult in a double room was extremely competitive. Comfortable (king dize) bed. Large TV (with Netflix). Iron & Board. Hair Dryer. Tea & Coffee. Body wash and clean towels. Extra bedding. Open wardrobe. Desk area.

Great value for your money compared to other places, for a short stay before you return home or arrive at Stanstead London. Compared to the rest, the beds needed a replacement, they seem to be worn and old, too soft. There is a food court besides, making it easy to find something to eat.
