The room was a very good size, especially for the price. The bathroom was very clean however the carpets were not in the room and nor were the carpets clean on the stairs leading to the room. The windows were so old that they would not open and our room as 'upgraded' however there was a short downwards staircase inbetween the room door where you need the key card and the actual room, which was difficult to access. The check in staff on shift was not the most fourth coming however when we checked out, the genetleman was lovely and very cheery.

We had very noisy neighbours on our first night who were arguing in the early hours of the morning, besides that nothing wrong with the property.

Good range of facilities, including iron & board, coffee machine, kettle and fridge. Location was great, 5 minutes from Lancaster Gate and just off Hyde Park. Friendly staff

Single beds are small for tall people and we had to bend a bit to fit. The twin room didn't have enough space for two large luggages, and we had to open our luggages when the other was closed :-D

Location and staff are wonderful. Wifi also works everywhere. Lobby has coffee maker and cookies for free. Generally good value for quality

My room was in the first floor, and therefor very dark. The reception room was very near by and it was loud in the night.

Very good, everything was avalibel, inklusiv English Breakfast. The Coffee was bad. The room for Breakfast was quite narrow.

Not the fault of the hotel but the drilling of the nearby house woke me up at 7.30am and stopped at 10am. Couldn't get the air con to blow warm just cold even tho the temperature said 27 degrees.

Loved the tea, coffee and biscuits in the foyer. Comfortable bed, staff very friendly and helpful.

Some of the paint work in the hotel looked a bit tired and could benefit from a bit of attention. The breakfast selection was really good, maybe could have benefited from having tea and coffee available in the dining room

The location was excellent. Close to the tube, parks and a few pubs and cafes close by. The lady on the front desk was lovely and checked us in 30 mins early. We had a call a few minutes after to check the room was ok. The bed in the room was really comfortable and we had a great night sleep. Would definitely stay here again next time we're in London

Loud, the doors are hardly isolating any noise, actual gaps in the frame let a lot of noise through. Staff is weirdly unfriendly, I had to give a rating of the stay while checking out. I found this very unprofessional and awkward to give such a review and even though I said 4 to 5 stars with the exception that the rooms were quite loud and you could hear people in the hall or above, it was met with the weird comment of: "I'm sorry we cannot force everyone to be quiet." Also basic hotel etiquette were lacking: eg. no "do not disturb" sign was available and house keeping entered the room even though it was locked. No internal door lock is provided. We were also placed in the basement with no windows, so definitely wasn't worth full price.

We were in a room downstairs and there was quite a smell in the bathroom. We checked in late and there was no hairdryer in the room but I was happy to wait until the morning to get it. The electricity wasn’t great in the room either as I had to plug out the coffee machine to plug the kettle into as the double socket wasn’t working properly. The batteries in the remote were also not the best

There wasn't anything i didn't like

The room for the first night was not as ordered, however, this was soon corrected by staff and I was given a larger room which was totally suitable for the purpose. The location was perfect for 3 busy working days in London and it's proximity to the Central Line was perfect. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them.
