Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We like everything about the apartment.
The location is fantastic. Close to eatries like Tesco Express, Hench Chicken & Fries, Brim big burgers and a well-stocked groceries shop. Alex, the host was hospitable and pleasant. I will surely book again.

TV needed to be sorted as not everyone wants to watch netflix, no live TV. Toilet needs to be sorted as it continually flowed.
Spacious accommodation, excellent location very reasonable price.

Being within a gated complex made it a bit trickier than usual for getting Ubers or food delivery etc. We had to walk out to find the drivers every time. * This is ofc not the apartment's fault! Just so customers are aware that even with the intercom & instructions given, nobody seemed to be able to find the flat for some reason hehe

We have a parking ticket for the free parking so trying to sort that out, I'm sure we will get it sorted. - this has been sorted by the owner - a mistake by the parking authority. So again, great work and communication from the owner of the property.
Excellent property, really clean and tidy, great facilities. Communication with the host was really great, continual email checkins.

Flat had a musty smell on arrival and cleaning of kitchen/living area could have been better - but I am being very picky!
Very well equiped flat, good decorative order and in a quiet yet convenient location to Luton Airport. Host excellent - very responsive to messages.

Two very minor points: A wooden spoon or equivalent would be a helpful addition to the kitchen for cooking. The bathroom towels were prone to shedding.

Since the location is near the airport, you do hear airplanes taking off, when the balcony door is open.
The location was good. You get a parking permit for free parking. There is a asda shop in a 5 min drive, where we got our grocaries. The appartment was spacious, with 2 bathrooms and was very clean. There were all the facilities we needed (towels, iron, dishwash soap, hairdryer etc) We wanted to check in earlier, and checked out a bit later. This was no problem. The host was very good with communication and called us before arriving to explain where we could get the key.

No water bottles inside the property, just one beer in the fridge and biscuits. I think water bottles are more of a priority than a beer bottle.
Spacious and nice paintings / sofa and balcony. Friendly host, good directions to get there and to check in.
