Not so much a what didn’t we like but more personal preference, we found the heating a bit too high and couldn’t turn it down.

Super find, really comfortable and great facilities. Games were an added bonus too. Hosts were amazing.

Great location as is walking distance to the train station. Spotlessly clean with plenty of room for a big family. Lots of extras provided for our little boy who didn’t want to leave. Really had a wonderful time and will definitely book again.

Always try and book this place in advance when working in area with colleagues. Great location/super comfortable beds and bedding has absolutely everything you would ever need from contimends to toiletries if you forget anything. washing line is handy for us as there for a week at a time sometimes. And always fresh bread /milk/butter/ crumpets and fresh Orange juice/bottled water in fridge on arrival.

Great stay - the house was spotless, fully equipped with everything you could need! The location was great - short walk into the centre and down to the beach. The hosts could not have been more helpful - the surprise treats and breakfast were much appreciated! We were arriving late in the evening with young children they had timed heating and left lights on to welcome us. They were super responsive when we needed local recommendations for taxi etc. Would highly recommend.

A charming terrace villa in west Kirby close to some beautiful coastal walks and parks on the Wirral and only 25 minutes by Mersey Rail form the station (a 5 minute walk). A real home from home and it is clear the host goes the extra-mile to make their guests welcome, from the cosy rooms, well supplied kitchen, decorated Olive Tree, and the generous food and drink on arrival. The host is very responsive and helpful. This is our second visit to the house and we hope to be back again soon.

What a gem! Absolutely perfect for visiting Liverpool and the coast with a family of young children. The house is exceptionally welcoming, warm and beautifully presented with nothing extra you could wish for. The children loved all the additional edible extras left by the hosts for us to enjoy! Excellent communication throughout trip, we will most certainly be back!

Nothing, it was exactly what we were looking for and we hope to return.

A real home from home, really well equipped and we all got a great night’s sleep. A couple of minutes walk into the centre of town and we had no problems parking on the road right outside. Great communication from the owners and it was lovely to spend a couple of days in West Kirby.

Very convenient location. Nice decorations, well maintained, very clean. Great welcome pack (milk, biscuits, wine, soap & toothbrushes etc). Warm and comfortable. Back garden would be a nice place to sit in summer.

We had a fantastic stay. We were so impressed with the generosity of food and drink treats and the lovely Christmas decorations and lights made our arrival and stay so warm and welcoming. There are excellent stocked amenities, it is very clean, comfortable beds, easy parking right outside, walking distance to high street and restaurants, walking distance to the beach, quiet location so helped get a lovely nights sleep. Overall, perfect home away from home. Thank you to Nina and Steve for being excellent hosts:)

Everything works in this house, even the little things like scissors, knives and the cafetière - properties often have objects that look like these things but Don’t Work. It’s very comfortable. Easy parking. Walking distance to West Kirby centre. Not much traffic noise.

Well stocked house, very handy not to have to buy salt/pepper etc. Lovely to be welcome with orange juice, croissant, cola and tea cakes as well as tea/ coffee. Excellent location for the marine lake, Hilbre Island and the station. Easy to gain access with a keybox. Prompt and helpful communication with host.

A nicely presented and comfortable property. It was easy to park on the road outside and the property was well equipped. There were also some very nice touches, like milk, scones, etc. in the fridge.

The location was great for all the facilities of West Kirby and the beach. Also close to the station for visits to Liverpool. The accommodation was welcoming, clean and comfortable. Hosts had generously left supplies in the fridge and the basics such as tea, coffee, condiments and toiletries were all there so we didn’t have to buy from scratch. We had a fabulous three night stay here and I highly recommend it.

There was nothing

The house was beautifully clean and absolutely everything we might need was there, with so many thoughtful touches like food in the fridge, books, games and tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. The beds were super comfy as were the sofas in the sitting room. Parking was great, either in front of the house or in side street opposite. Great location close to town and marina. The owners were on hand should we have needed them but we had more than we needed. Would recommend highly

Nothing. I know the area and did wonder if parking would be a problem but we parked right outside the house every day.

Beautifully presented house with thoughtful touches everywhere. The owners have gone above and beyond in making our stay perfect.
