£21 for breakfast...but my poached eggs were overcooked, as was the blackpudding and bacon. Sausage was good, but too expensive for the cost.

The hotel was lovely, staff great...couldn't fault it, but the work on Pitt street...I'm sure legislation states that you can do work (loud) before 8am.at a weekend, bit we were wakened at 7am with construction noise. Not the hotels fault I know.

View from room was a brick wall. Breakfast wasn’t great value for money. Small selection of continental options and a small ‘full’ breakfast for £21!

The room had a kettle, coffee, tea facilities, etc but didn't supply water for the kettle.

Room was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast. The location was excellent as the hotel is nice and quiet but also within walking distance from city centre.

Our standard room was tired and stuck away at back of hotel. Bathroom needed attention with some bits old and falling off. The main room window was enormous and not able to be opened closed without staff assistance unfortunately. Room below normal malmaison standards I'm afraid.

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about local area. Greeting at reception was lovely after a wet walk up the hill from the station.

The rooms tend to get quite warm and the windows don’t open much so we did have to use the fan for the majority of our stay.

Staff were excellent, super welcoming and friendly. Lovely spacious room, bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous too.

I stayed 2 nights at Malmaison Glasgow, I was traveling for work and had a wonderful stay. The room that I had was spacious and cozy. The bathroom was really nice. The breakfast was typical english breakfast, ok, but not my favourite type of breakfast, but that is personal taste of course. However the staff was wonderful and helpful. I forgot my headphones at the hotel room, and only realised when I got home to Iceland. They were so generous to send me the headphones without hesitation, and at not extra cost. Thank you so much.

A fridge in the room would be good. A hand held shower head as well as the main shower head would be good.

Shower wasn't great water pressure and the plug in the sink in bathroom didn't work correctly. Took a very long time for the water to run cold as well. TV in lounge didn't work properly.

Room had a mezzanine level - very quirky. Bed was very comfortable, clean towels and bed linen. Room had all the facilities you would need for a short stay.

Cleanliness of bathroom let it down a little - had to request that it be cleaned again.

Staff on arrival and throughout stay were incredibly helpful - easily arranged for us to store baggage etc there as our room wasn't ready when we arrived early. When we came back to check in that afternoon the lady at reception was lovely and as our room wasn't ready she arranged us free drinks in the bar until she came and found us. She also took our suitcase to the room for us so it was there for us when we got in. The room was lovely, really spacious and great comfy bed. Would be better if there were plugs by the bedside tables as this is always handy but not the biggest deal. Unfortunately our bathroom was a bit dirty when we arrived with a few stray hairs left around (yuck). But we spoke to the lady at reception again and she arranged for it to be cleaned so can't fault the service at all.

Our room was dark. Also, we were offered an Eco option of drinks at the bar in place of our rooms being serviced but in hindsight we would have preferred to have had our rooms lightly cleaned as we were here for four nights and it meant keep getting supplies from reception and using our towels to dry our used coffee cups and making our own bed whilst on holiday!

The dark grey room decor not my taste and I found it a bit gloomy along with the lighting but personal taste so not an issue.

Wonderfully warm welcome from the receptionist. Bar staff really friendly, efficient and professional. Lovely relaxed bar to sit and have gorgeous cocktails in. Had lunch the next day - top class service and food. All round outstanding service from start to finish. Good location for city centre - 5/10 min walk from the hustle and bustle.
