You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The tv could be bigger and charge abit more.
How polite, friendly, and helpful staff was and the cleanliness of the lodge. Great value for money! We had a perfect relaxing stay and would definitely recommend this lodge. The breakfast there is amazing.

Not a big fan of electric showers - I like a proper, fierce, one to wake me up in the morning, but that's just a tiny quibble :-)

Perfect
The host Mark was helpful and friendly. Standard choice of breakfast the cooked one being excellent. The room was a good size very comfortable bed spotless ensuite. Kettle and crockery restocked every day with tea coffee and biscuits. Parking available off the road. The host had thought of everything to make the stay a home from home.

The lodge is set in a quiet little oasis at the end of the garden. The hosts are very accommodating, thoughtful and personable. It was perfect for our stay. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back.

Nothing loved it all
Very welcomed into a cozy lodge with a very comfortable bed and to wake up to a lovely breakfast cooked by mark who is a very lovely gentleman. Was a great weekend away really enjoyed it and can’t wait to come again.

Lodge was comfortable, warm and cosy - tested against very very wet and windy winter conditions. It passed with flying colours. Bed was huge! Breakfast was great each morning and Mark was always on hand to help.

Excellent host-knowledgeable and friendly. Comfy spacious accommodation. Duvet good and room had an extra heater which boosted the warmth when we came in on a cold night. Rooms were really well insulated and retained heat.

This is our second time here, absolutely brilliant great location to see friends and family. The room was very comfortable and peaceful. The hosts were very nice and made you feel welcome, breakfast was delicious too

room had spider and cobweb deposits all over. I’m not bothered as a single male but better to let you know. Bed is firm and I like a firm bed and pillow. But the pillow could do with replacing for a slightly softer one.
Room was great, good size and well explained. Decent linen, and everything you would want.

This must have been the best Bed & Breakfast experience I've ever had. The room and the facilties in the room were really good. We enjoyed hanging out in the garden before bed. The host was so friendly as well and the breakfast he made was so delicious. I would definitely recommend staying here if you ever visit the Liverpool and Manchester area.

Excellent place to stay whilst visiting the Wirral. Lodge very private and peaceful with our own entry. Slept well in a comfortable large bed. Beautiful sheltered garden to sit out in. Great shower and Mark the host was very welcoming and cooked lovely breakfasts. The pub at the end of the road has a nice menu and also had outside seating areas. We've already recommended Manor Garden Lodge to friends.

there wasn't anything that i disliked. The lodges are right at the bottom of a long beautiful Garden, very private from the House. The lodge was very comfortable, shower was nice the whole place was very clean. had plenty of tea and coffee in the room. You had breakfast in the main house, but it was very welcoming and homely. really nice atmosphere. You have your own key to come and go as you please, you have access at the side of the house, so no need to disturb Mark & Jan . plenty of parking at the front. couldn't ask for any more. i defiantly recommend this place to Friends and Family. i most certainly would stay again. It was a wedding weekend for me. so i didn't explore the area to much, but there is a chip shop and local pub that serves food quite close to the Manor Lodge. its a lovely village. Mark always asked if everything was fine with every thing so has to make sure you were enjoying your stay there, Great host made you feel comfy, very nice person.
Breakfast was plenty and lovely, you could have a cooked breakfast, or cereal and toast.
