Shower wasn’t great - water almost dripped through. Beds are lumpy and soft - nor ideal for your back!

It’s was exactly as advertised. It is basic but has all the necessities and for a weekend just fine, especially because of the location. It’s what you would expect for the price paid.

Broken Window in the bathroom and lack of radiator made it almost impossible to shower due to the cold.

We came prepared as we knew it will be very cold. Couple of extra blankets and warm clothes made our stay bearable.

We found it very cold. We used all the portable heaters downstairs but it was still cold. It could do with some rugs on the concrete floor and some thick curtains on the front door and windows to keep the heat in.

It was very quirky and fitted in with the surroundings. It was only 20 mins from weymouth which we liked.

This property has great potential but it’s pretty run-down and needs some TLC

It’s all a bit run-down. The outside area out the front is a good space but just has a table and chairs that hasn’t been cleaned for a long time, and what appears to be a hot tub but is covered up. On the inside, it’s pretty basic but mostly fine. The original stone flooring, whilst quite novel, really makes this place not great for kids. It’s uneven, bumpy and, obviously, very unforgiving if they fall over. The ceiling is very low on the stairs so be prepared to crouch at the top. The spiral staircase feels very flimsy and requires quite a bit of concentration to navigate up and down. All this is fairly trivial but the main issues came out at night. The place becomes infested with large woodlice and slugs. One night before bed, I removed 14 woodlice from our bedroom and could see many, many more on the floor in the living/kitchen area. The slugs came out a bit later at night downstairs only, at one point I stepped on one accidentally, it was grim. The WiFi is poor, we just couldn’t get it to work properly at all.

The property is quite charming, it’s very rustic and has a character about it. The bathroom is nice and the beds were comfortable. It’s also in a beautiful area.

Very scruffy, outdoors was just weeds and dead flowers & a puddle that was probably a leaking septic tank & a rat trap nearby. Inside was basically a disused barn with a sofa & a bed in it. Totally without comforts. We love rustic but this was another level…. Only one good thing, bed was comfortable…..

It was in a lovely area

This place was good value for money but not very cosy and rustic is maybe an under statement.

why cant I do 0? 1 is kind! I feel like the pictures should be removed as you didn't show the death trap stairs and seeing as you said your property is suitable for children... on what planet?? please do enlighten me. I messaged before arrival and was concerned about the reviews as when booking I didn't read them ROOKIE ERROR and when I did it just mentioned about the cleanliness which that can be sorted right? WRONG I messaged and was told 'oh the smell is people don't like it next to a stables etc and its in the country side' I would have preferred the smell of horse poo than the smell of this property. it was dirty and musky. almost like you tried to polish a turd. at the end of the day it is still a turd. you may had made the beds but didn't matter as there was no way we could stay there so we had to drive home as no where else had rooms. so after my 6+ hour drive with my friend her dog, and my child we was heading straight back home. you reassured me you would meet me to do hand over and give the keys but you didn't, to be honest how could you seriously look me in the face and go here have a nice time! I had to get them out of the box which when we left swiftly after couldn't get back in. Honestly not much point having a lock on the door as it's as safe as if there was no doors on the property. the spiders weren't listed as room mates which is strange as there was so many of them.. dusting? hoovering? na we will use the dust as a blanket so much of it. The fact I messaged before arriving and that was what it looked like is SHOCKING the weeds in the front area was a joke, the fact it is attached to the Manor House which you clearly take so much pride in as that was stunning. We could hear family's who were staying there laughing and having fun.. must be nice. I have tried to call and message but alas no reply.. wonder if I can attach pictures of this experience??

    NOTHING

The sofa was dirty and foisty. Personally, it wants throwing away and buying a new one. and the kitchen could seriously do with a face lift. The worktops definitely hadn't been sealed/oiled in years. Could real do with like a welcome pack, something simply like a small loaf of bread milk a pack of biscuits as the nearest shop is about 3 miles away.

    The location was lovely

The condition of it is terrible we had no proper heating , we were giving potable heaters which we had to move around the property it was so cold , the flooring is terrible , the entrance gate has a gap my dog could go through the outdoor light didn’t work the WiFi is beyond a joke , it’s actually sad that the person who owns it shows no love to their property, it’s also by a stables so it stinks when you come outside , there is no heating in the bathroom so never go there in winter

I actually didn’t like anything about the property it shouldn’t be on here
