Bed wasn’t that comfortable, but I don’t like a hard mattress, so it’s personal preference.

Everything, was a lovely place. Also loved the fridge and microwave. Was an added plus. Shower was so powerful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Meadowcroft. Debbie and team were so helpful and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. Breakfast food was delicious with good quality products. We look forward to the next visit 😊!

It was very noisy as it is on an A road. It was really hot that night so we had to leave a window open which meant the road noise was pretty loud. They do provide ear plugs so if you wear them it might help. There was also some hairs on the towels.

Great location, room was comfortable & had what you need. They have a little living room space too with a fridge and some wine glasses etc in which is a nice touch. The staff at breakfast were lovely and the brekkie was good too. There is also a pub a few minutes walk which did nice food! Enough parking & dog friendly

The pillows were a little too hard.

We found the location was ideal and easy to commute to local areas. The food and hospitality was excellent. It had a warm , cosy feel as soon as we walked in. Would definitely recommend!

That our time there was too short!

Nice comfortable, clean room in a convenient for us location that was easy to drive to and park. Lovely size room with a really big bathroom. Friendly, welcoming staff that had everything prepared and awaiting arrival. Great breakfast with fun visitors. Would stay here again! We were concerned about road noise, but there was no problem. Fun to see the farm across the way and frolicking sheep, and strolled to the mill for dinner.

Road noise which is unavoidable due to the location. However, hosts acknowledge this and do provide ear plugs for the nights stay in case it does become unbearable

Located a couple of miles outside of Windermere with public transport links into the rest of the Lake District. Facilities are well kept and the breakfast provided is excellent.

On arrival loved location could park up at guest house which is a bonus.was made to feel so welcome throughout our stay nothing to much trouble lovely hosts .guest house spotless throughout comfy and fabulous breakfast plenty of choice.

Perfect stay with cosy, clean & spacious rooms that had everything we needed. It is a lovely guesthouse and even though it's on the outskirts of the lakes, it is only a short 5-10 min drive to get to the centre of Bowness/Windermere. We will definitely be going back :) and the shower was very powerful which is always a bonus!

Only met owner at breakfast. Key was in porch when we arrived. The owner couldn't have been nicer when we met her but it did seem strange having the owner off site and only coming in in the morning.
