First of all to get a hold of the property owner was a nightmare and only received the code for the door after multiple attempts. The property has other guests 'men' living there so as a group of girls we felt quite uneasy about this as we thought we had booked the whole house. One of the rooms had a patio door leading to the back garden that was held together but an extention cable wrapped around the handles!! There was 1 half a set of blinds half way up the one door and no blinds on the other. This house was NOT SAFE to stay in so after 2 minutes of looking around we left and had to spend 2 hours looking for alternative accommodation!

The house stank of weed and bleach as soon as you entered My room stank of cigarettes. Woke up with a chesty cough because of this The mattress needs replacing immediately

Being double booked, using code and walking into my room and someone else in the bed. Being concerned someone would walk into the room. Having a permanently unlocked patio door in my room. The dangerous electric fire that turns off immediately and smells of burning afterwards the broken TV, the freezing room.... need I go on

If allocated the room off the kitchen, if you are a single woman or are concerned about your belongings getting stolen, do not stay here

Where do I even start. No contact from owner until last minute to get into the property. We have never entered such a dirty property EVER! The bedding had white marks, the pillows had brown marks, the walls around the bed were filthy. The bed base was half covered in plastic as it was black/mouldy/dirty. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. I understand this isn’t the most expensive place to put your head down for a night but we expected basic cleanliness. We left and ended up having to pay out a lot of money to sleep elsewhere. After reaching out to the owner numerous times with zero response we had to contact Booking.com. They also have had no response from him. I requested a refund. I’ve been advised that it isn’t their responsibility for a refund. I didn’t want to be that person leaving such a negative review on someone’s income/ business but out of total disrespect to discuss the disgusting state of the room it’s left me with no choice than to leave a review. I highly recommend that you DO NOT stay here unless you’re fine to sleep in such filthy and inhumane conditions!

The guy who owned the place asked for me and my friend to send a deposit which we did but then stated they did not receive it and told us we could not stay, Me and my friend were stuck on the streets as we had nowhere else to go which we told the owner but he did not care.

Dirty, room was sparse, dirty stains on walls, old faded set of drawers and garden table. Hallway was grotty and dirty. Toilet smelled awful and was dirty with stains. Mats were unclean. Blinds broken. No towels or tv controls. Was more like a benefits hostel than a guest house. Checked out reviews online after the fact, not good at all. Property is nothing like the photos.

Difficult because I was unable to access this place until 04:45 the following morning as the staff were not able to provide me with a correct passcode, in any instance the key dispenser was damaged making it difficult to Enter a code even if provided? I am 62 years old and had to sleep in my car in the street. I also have 4 forms of cancer and Parkinson disease. This was meaningless to the owner/cleaner who miraculously changed his role from owner to cleaner/dogsbodyess the moment I questioned the access availability. I have so far been refused a refund from Booking.Com on the grounds that I am not entitled to one (£28 for a room I could not access) I will not be using this service again and will be writing to The Guardian, BBC et al to see if they are interested in doing an article about Bookinge . com and its inability to provide a simple room, also the fire brigade have been informed of the dangerous condition of the heater in room 1 at 14 Green Street. All very avoidable, but I was clearly to to mind my own business by your ignorant staff in Asia.
