Understaffing at breakfast time. As an aged establishment. Old plumbing in the bathroom was problematic.

A little dated, and some issues with plumbing. These matters were nullified by the Excellent service & attention given by Gareth (a great multi-tasker) and especially Jamie in the Restaurant. Overall a great stay. Would recommend to others.

The hotel was really hot especially at night! I couldn’t get much ventilation even by opening the windows.

Excellent location, lovely breakfast. Strange music choice, dance tracks at 8am but it wasn’t an issue. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent gym facilities. The shower was amazing. Very powerful. Lovely food in the evening.

Everything about the stay on both times has been almost perfect, excellent in fact except from billing issues, we have had issues both times and had to come away waiting to see a refund going on to the account. On this occasion, we were given a evening bill that wasn't ours, alerted staff to the fact, and waited considerable time for someone to return, alerted someone else to the fact we were still waiting and after further period of time asked for a third time to be told that the bill had been updated and already added to our account without us reviewing, however in the morning after paying the bill and strangly getting an itemized bill afterwards ? found that there were still three items we hadn't had. It is fair to say that on that evening, there was a golden wedding anniversary bash going on, so they were extremely busy at the time. We would stay again. However, if there were billing issues for a third successive time, I think that might have bearing on whether we use the place for a fourth time.

Definitely a lovely hotel, we stayed here before and because we knew how good it was, came back again, great food, excellent staff, friendly place, nice surroundings nicely situated,

I wasn't a huge fan of having a ground floor room next to the car park. The lights in the car park were quite bright and even blinds/curtains didn't shut them out completely. Also it took a very long time (minutes rather than seconds) for water to run hot – maybe because I was at the end of the corridor?

Clean and functional, which is a lot of what I ask for in a hotel. Just out of the town centre, which is good, but still walkable.

The WiFi was buffering quite a lot which affected the TV…..stopping and staring.

The staff were brilliant, great tasty dinner, lovely comfortable bed and a superb breakfast. Ample free parking too. Plenty of three pin sockets for phone and laptop charging etc. The shower was good too with plenty or power.

I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs myself. The breakfast was very ordinary with undercooked, tough bacon and the sausage was tough. I have had much better Lincolnshire sausages. Most hotels include breakfast in the room price and £15 was a lot to pay for an ordinary breakfast. However, the coffee was nice and the staff very pleasant.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm. It was nice and quiet.

Stayed here a few times now. Great location. Close to town centre with Cleethorpes easily accessible by bus/taxi. Very friendly staff. Shower hot and bed comfy

I didn't like having to walk past the squash courts to get to my room...it wasn't very "inviting"! Although there was a prettier, longer route round, we weren't shown this. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

Room was a little stuffy as no opening windows and despite turning off radiator I found it too warm and the new carpet smell wasn't pleasant although we got used to it after a while . One price for breakfast which works out expensive as I normally just eat fruit and yoghurt and maybe a pastry .

Handy location and the room was newly refurbished and comfortable. Food and service excellent

Could have done with knowing there was a large wedding reception on when we stayed.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was lovely, we had a bar meal (burgers ) and they were really good. Room was maybe a little bit dated , but was more than acceptable. We'd use again if back that way

Carpets within the hall way to the room and in the room really need a clean or replacing. Never stayed in such a squeaky bed before, as it was a spring base.

It's a small thing but it's a bit tired in places like the drawer in my bedside cabinet the handle kept falling off and some of the wallpaper had been chipped off.

I stayed in what l think was maybe an old coach house so it was quieter and less busy than the main hotel. I really enjoyed the space and had a lovely bathroom. The decor of the room was just to my taste.
