Although we had 2small dogs the room was a little bit shabby.

The breakfast was always nice but what really made it was a particular member of staff. Her name was Janice Smith and she always had a smile and nothing was to much trouble.

    Very happy with everything

Friendly welcome. The room was spacious, lovely and clean with a superking and a single bed. Comfy beds and pillows. There were plenty of mirrors and sockets. Powerful shower and lovely smelling toiletries . The hotel was quiet overnight and we had a good night sleep. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty to choose from. Continental and full English. Soya milk available if you ask. We had a lovely view from the breakfast room. Lift available. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends. It was £12.50 taxi from Stafford train station

I am really tired that Bed Sizes are never accurate.. The specifics of Bed Sizes should always be posted in cms. You spend more time in Bed when you visit a Hotel than any place else. This is a MAJOR fault on Booking.com and Hotels/B and Bs etc. Information is king,

To put comfortable sofa's in between the reception and the bar area, ( bar area used for weddings) so there was some where to relax for hotel guests with a drink and away from the small bar area.

Breakfast was 1st class, a big thank you to Tommy, for being so friendly and helping with our directions to get to out destination . Also the reception staff, trying help us when the disable parking had been taken over by none blue badge holders, because of an event taking place.

    Didn't stay long enough!

The Moat House is a beautiful Grade II listed Manor House steeped in history set in beautiful surroundings with it's own lake next to the canal. The room was very comfortable, clean and with a view of the moat and canal. The full English breakfast was delicious and served in the Orangery overlooking the canal. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the Moat House!

The pillows were not very supportive for sleeping, the nearby M6 was noisy and could be heard all night, a lot of artificial light from the car park outside could be seen around the curtains so we did not get a good quality sleep.

Very pleasant room, excellent breakfast and dinner.

Nothing really, except that the lounge bar was a bit short staffed/service slow on the first night (Friday)

Breakfast was excellent. Room was very good. We had dinner in the lounge bar, which was flexible and suited us as we only wanted a light snack on the second night and we'd been out to a big family lunch. The location was perfect after a long journey - easy access from M6, but quiet and secluded just a few miles out of Stafford. Also plenty of parking spaces. We will definitely stay here again when visiting family in the area.

Bedroom window needs attention as there was a draft and a little noise from traffic but not the end of the world it certainly did not impact our stay. Could do with brighter lighting

It was a pleasure to have all members of your team so friendly and curtious, and happy in there work unusual to find that now days. Bar and restraunt food was of a high standard and service was excellent.
