Great value for money. Nice resort. Lovely village. We would return!

We got this for an amazing price (no doubt due to it being out of season) and were expecting only a 1 bed lodge. We got 2 bedrooms (including an en-suite main). Lounge/kitchen area very spacious too. Would happily come back and stay with a couple of friends next time - in same size lodge.

Everything was what we expected, really not much more they can improve on.

Friendly staff and excellent food made our stay more enjoyable, although only stayed one night on business we would recommend any families etc to stay here very quiet location.

Bed very hard. Cottage isn't new, it has a new hot tub installed, but the cottage itself is completely outdated and needs a refurb. We waited for a phone call to say our room was ready but noone called. Had to go back to reception at 4.15pm to enquire. Housekeeping didn't hoover between couches, there was left over doritos on the floor from the previous guest. There was a few hairs on the bed covers and whoever cleaned the shower left dirty trainer marks all over the basin. Swimming pool was absolutely freezing. Bar not manned alot of the time. Served a flat pint and an only very slightly cold bottle of beer at the bar upstairs

Amazing location. Beautiful walks. Big rooms. Well equipt kitchen. Great hot tub. Wild life around our cottage was lovely. Nice staff. Enjoyed our dinner up the stairs one night. Games in the lounge great for kids. We absolutely loved our stay

In the hotel rooms you can hear people walking about upstairs. Very loud.

Great facilities and helpful staff. I needed to take a meeting and the staff were happy to let me use the meeting room as it was free.

The pool area felt a little forgotten about. a lot of the lockers were broken and even having a plug socket for straighteners would be good. It needs updating and there were kids in the jacuzzi and steam room. It would be good to have a separate time for adults only. The fruit at breakfast had fermented, it might be nice to have some fresh options. Also it would be good to have a bar near the lounge area and maybe a screen.

The executive room was lovely and spacious and the bathroom was great. The bathrooms at the reception area seems brand new and were so clean. The food for dinner was delicious and was definitely worth it.

The bed . The mattress was worn down I had to request extra topper . Didn't get much of a sleep. Think they need to renew the beds or mattress.

We stayed in the hotel the rooms where big enough , we had everything we needed .

We were disappointed on first seeing the outside of the cottages, they looked a bit run down and in need of painting. We would have liked the Uisge Bar/Restaurant to have been open later for meals. It has a much better atmosphere than the Flemmyng Restaurant.

The cottage was large, warm and comfortable with everything we needed. We were sent a message to say it was ready before check-in. The staff were all very friendly and professional.

Some facilities are a bit run down - e.g. Children's indoor play area, parts of the swimming pool, some parts of the room (chairs, tv). It was quite difficult to navigate the swimming changing rooms with a baby, . There really should be designated disabled changing with lockers, not just a toilet with a shower. There was nowhere to store our stuff.

The room was very big and spacious. It had pretty much everything we needed, apart from a fridge which would have been good to store food for the baby. The facilities were good, though some things needed a refresh as they weren't in very good condition- e.g. Children's place area. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was all really nice.

On arrival we were informed about some damage with the hot tub cover but we were offered a bottle of prosecco as an apology. My husband just had to stay in the tub to pull it over each time we used it. This wasn't a big deal, as we only stayed the 2 nights. It was good of them to inform us of this and provide the prosecco. We noticed we had no hot water when we arrived at the cottage but someone came out straight away to sort it. We cannot fault them for that. Some of the bed sheets were unclean but as we did not use all the beds we put them to the side. There was also work getting done outside our cottage to a pond but this didn't affect us as we were in and out most of the day.

The staff were lovely and explained everything on our arrival. Check in was quick, which was great, due to travelling a distance with our disabled child. The facilities on site were brilliant. We enjoyed an early morning swim with the pool all to ourselves. Towels were also provided on arrival. The takeaway food service was very handy, as our son is unable to sit and eat in busy public areas. The cottage was spacey and the view of the woods was lovely. There's so much to do and see in the local area. Note, quite a few things do not open until April, which we will take note of next time but we do hope to return one day. I'd definitely recommend Moness :)

Lack of shelving units in bathrooms. Lack of kitchen/cooking utensils. Rooms were very bare and some little accessories would have made it feel more homely.

The room was dated and could definitely do with fresh paint. The swimming pool was freezing cold and we had to come out after only 5 minutes.

We had a suite which had a spare bed made up in the living room for our daughter. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space in the suite. The breakfast was lovely. The staff on reception and serving at breakfast were helpful and friendly.
