Could hear the people upstairs and the WiFi was poor, but it is an old place so you do have to except some things

Absolutely nothing at all to fault here for me. Everything was of the highest standard.

Our room was fabulous. Spotlessly clean, with all the amenities you would expect, and need, Plus a few more extras. Staff, in every department I thought were above and beyond. Elliott was so helpful each day, and Martin did us proud on the car park. But every team member really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. Great choice and quality always very good. Evening meals in the restaurant equalled breakfast in all aspects. Will definitely be going back at some point, the next time we are in the area. Would highly recommend both the hotel, and the restaurant. The bar is outstanding on what it has to offer.

Excellent food and very good menu both at breakfast and dinner. Room beautifully decorated if a little on the small side.very limited storage for clothes in the bedroom and fir washing, etc in the bathroom. A small storage chest with glass top in the bathroom would have been useful.

Was a little noisy at times. It’s a pub so expect some background music until 10.30-11!

I wasn’t keen on the breakfast menu. There wasn’t an option to have a small ‘full English’.

The bedroom was stunning - the best I’ve ever stayed in. Very comfortable, beautiful decor with lovely plants dotted around the room. Lovely shower room too, ideal for my husband who has a disability.

Our room had a very small opaque window which could not be opened so lights were needed when you were in. The bathroom was lovely but the sink was too close to the toilet.

There were no private facilities for guests, I,e a small lounge area, the bar and restaurant were permanently busy, so we found it difficult to catch up with family we hadn't seen seen for years. No designated area to book in, and check out is to early. Lastly I think some car park spaces should be reserved for staying guest.

The decor was beautiful,the bedrooms immaculate and very comfy beds.

We felt like we were in the cupboard under the stairs room nice but very very small and compared to arrow mill in alcester didn’t compare price wise either unfortunately

On occasions the covered courtyard maybe used for a function, could cause a noise issue if you wanted an early night.

The room was in an annex, which was across a covered court yard, so no weather issues. The room was of a decent proportion and very comfortable. The food was very good, as were the staff and breakfast was good with plenty of selection other than a full cooked.

stairs are quite tight with doors opening back onto them, decor is a bit dated and the door on the room was difficult to unlock from the inside, but we understand that the property is due to be renovated
