I enjoyed it all. Lovely old hotel that has been well maintained.

The breakfast was fantastic with a large variety to choose from. Food was fresh and well presented. Breakfast was well worth it.

Little dated, needed refurbishment. Not much selection for hot drinks in room, need to add hot chocolate sachets, more milk. Staff need training on the history of the building and the celebrities that have stayed there. More business would be generated knowing that big names have been there.missing out on promotion opportunities. Disappointed that staff not taking an interest in the history of their workplace.

Loved the setting. Staff were friendly, very accommodating. Beds comfortable. Breakfast lovely. Pool was fantastic.

The room was in a more modern part of the building but even so the building was a bit tired. The food and drinks were very expensive.

A very pleasant old building in a lovely part of the country. The leisure facilities were good and the grounds really lovely.

Very dusty and full of cobwebs and curtains hooks missing looked old and dirty. Limited choice of drinks in room with no herbal teas and no nice selection of toiletries. Room was above the beer barrels store and very noisy with glasses cluttering. Windows very dusty and didn’t close properly. No fans and beds have duvets and bed toppers so very hot beds, comfortable but too much heat especially for August. Cushion and bed end needed a wash. Just had to have all windows open to be able to breathe fresh air. Just really needs a good clean and dusting even on the lights. Breakfast was good but not a lot of choice… more bakery items/cakes needed no bananas, just feel it wasn’t value for money. Staff were nice but lack of communication amongst themselves as my rooms included breakfast but they were charging me. I had proof from a message for my booking including breakfast. The pool and jacuzzi was very small and very old in basement… too much chlorine in the jacuzzi and too strong. Showers need a good clean. Spiders and cobwebs everywhere. Bathroom door would not close so had to put towel and bin to keep it shut. Only stayed there as we had a wedding reception and party till late.

Nice old style with lots of green and lakes… country style with charm

A Perfect Countryside Escape at Nailcote Hall Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at Nailcote Hall Hotel. The location is beautifully rural, offering stunning views and a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere throughout. Parking was easy and felt very safe, which made arriving and getting settled stress-free. From the moment we arrived, the staff couldn’t have been more polite and friendly—nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds, making it easy to fully unwind. The decor may not be modern, but it suits the building perfectly—full of character, charm, and clearly very well maintained. The food was excellent, and having access to the spa and pool was an added bonus that made our stay even more special. If you’re after a sleek, contemporary hotel this may not be for you—but if you love period features, a warm welcome, and a countryside setting, Nailcote Hall is a wonderful choice. We couldn’t fault it.

Comfortable hotel, super amenities & efficient staff

Venue was a bit dated in places. In our room light bulbs had blown, had 3 hair dryers & 2 safes! Crack in sink basin and bit of mould round bath tub. Dark wood furniture just added to an already dark room and noise from road was quite loud. Fan or a portable air-con machine would have been useful in room.

ALL STAFF were super efficient and friendly and made you feel welcome & comfortable. We stayed overnight as we’d booked to attend a show and dinner at the venue. We were situated in room 34, which although in constant shade was hot (but nothing else expected during these extreme heat conditions) - no fan or air-con machine provided. Room was spacious and generally clean. Swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were fabulous. Breakfast was served to you but you could have as much as you wanted with plenty of choice on offer - from cereals, fruit, pastries, full English, toast and of course juices and tea & coffee. We also attended one of their live entertainment show & meal evenings. This was fantastic! From the super function room, food, (all perfect and served effortlessly & efficiently by friendly staff who seemed to enjoy interacting with their guests) Alternative offered when allergy informed, good time had by all. Would I recommend this venue - yes!!!

The early evening wasn't very relaxing in our room due to the wedding function bingo and live bank - the singer was pretty bad! We went out for dinner and drinks elsewhere, luckily by the time we came back at around 11.30 it had finished.

Lovely grounds, comfortable room and good drinks selection at the bar

Food rather expensive and unclear how to use dbb rates as against b&b rates. Reception staff unclear about walking round the site...it would be nice as non golfers to be able to walk around the golf area not on the course, naturally.

Good breakfast, nice leisure facilities though changing rooms rather basic. Nice comfortable room. Lovely quiet location.

The bar lacked atmosphere and linkage with outside space. The bar menu was poor with very limited choice. The wine is overpriced and not great quality. The bedroom carpet is getting grubby and stained needing replacement. For non golfers the grounds are limited. We were emailed prior to arrival that there were events on whilst we were staying (a wedding on each evening) and that we were being allocated a quieter room - However we were right in the wedding block so the room was noisy at night.

The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very nice too.
