The fact we were moved hotel without any compensation for the price difference.

We didn’t actually stay at Skye oceans hotel due to their heating system being broken we were offered their sister hotel. Sunny days. We lost money due to this change and the sister hotel wasn’t as good as Skye oceans itself. For one night it did the job but it wasn’t very clean or updated.

Freezing cold in the room, shower was also cold. The curtains were held on by gaffa tape and the mirror wasn’t able to be used as a mirror as stain over it in bathroom. We got give small towels and 2 sachets of shower gel.

Easy to find and on the promenade. A ton of plug sockets. Was only used for the night to see what Blackpool was like.

We was told the heating would come on at 8am however it still hadn't come on when we checked out. We ran out of milk and asked for some more at 8am, was told some would be brought straight up again this didn't arrive till 20 mins before check out.

We like the location of the hotel as it's roughly in the middle of the things we wanted to do.

I booked somewhere that said free parking parking is not free it is £10 and when we arrived there was nowhere to park. The room also had a bling missing and no curtains so you could see straight outside I’m sure you could probably see in when the lights were on. Everything else wasn’t too bad.

We love Blackpool and we try different B&b every time we go! Things mite not be spot on the the B&b but nothings perfect in anything these days? So far the B&b we have stayed at we always go back there’s just something that draws yu back to them? Lol! But in a year or two we hope to go and live at Blackpool we love the place so much !

Basic hotel the lift didn't work So I had to struggle on the stairs The bathroom wasn't very clean and there was a puddle of water on the window sail No chair to sit on and put your makeup on at the mirror No plug socket For the kettle So had to put the kettle on the floor Plug the kettle in and boil it very safe not Freezing cold at night time no heating on Got an electric shock for the trying to Switch the fan on for the bathroom Oh and only 2 tea bags 2 coffee and 2 little milks for 2 people for a over night stay

Sadly it's not great - we had to go to reception to ask for toilet roll. Room was on the 3rd floor, lift was out of order. An early escape to get back on the road was not possible as cars are parked first come first served, and there is a protocol of not asking customers to move their cars until 10am. One big issue was no hot water in the shower. I had a (rather!) cold shower at 7.30. Friends of ours staying at the hotel were told on arrival that the hot water came on at 8am. Useful info we could have done with. Last niggle was that the shower or toilet leaked and there was a rotten floor under the lino. So some cosmetic work is needed on this place, but if you're looking for no frills place to lay your head this is fine.

Good location, easy to park on the front. We were looking for a cheap room for 1 night after a football match, this ticked the box. The beds/room were clean, that was all that matter really.

shower floor crazed and cracked in appearance. electric kettle base was firmly glued to its tiny shelf. the awkward curtain rail arrangement (cheap, telescopic rail caught on the curtain rings). and the fact that the curtain rail was loosely DUCT-taped onto the wall and fell down completely all by itself next morning. the very low window sill level in our first floor room ensured a great view of sea but also a great view INTO the room from all points on the pavement/prom, especially the nearby tram stop crowded with people. we felt like we'd accidentally walked on stage when we first entered our room! So we had to draw the full curtains immediately. there was no net-curtaining in place. the bottom sheet was laid directly onto the mattress without anything in-between. the bathroom smelled faintly of vomit. car parking did exist out front for about 15 cars, which was impressive, but was full up and we had big difficulty finding anywhere at all to park. but this was a saturday night and the illuminations were on, and a firework display. but be prepared for big parking probs.

THE ROOM WAS WAY TO SMALL, NOWHERE TO SITE TO DO HAIR AND MAKEUP. NOT ENOUGH TEA COFFEE SUGAR FOR THE TWO DAYS. SHOWER, YOU COULDNT TURN AROUND IT WAS THAT SMALL. PLASTER ON THE WALLS WAS COMING OFF AND IM SURE THE ROOM WAS DAMP. THE WINDOW DIDNT CLOSE PROPERLY AND THE CIL WAS HORRIBLE. THE BED COVERED SOME OF THE WINDOW BLOCKING THE ONLY LIGHT YOU COULD HAVE AND THE BLIND HAD NO STRING OR WINDER. YOU HAD TO TURN THE ROLL AT THE TOP TO PUT IT BACK UP.
